Easy installation.

Installation in my 05 suburbans middle seat behind the driver was tricky but once it’s attached to all car seat straps it’s very sturdy

Its too shallow, need longer brackets to clip the seat.

This was so easy to install, it works perfectly and allows me to safely install a forward facing child car seat into my older vehicle! I highly recommend getting this if you're in the position I was where your vehicle simply doesn't have the capability to forward face a child car seat because there's no anchor!

The bracket locked. The seat held firm. And the tension felt safe. I installed this in a 2018 Highlander during a child safety reset. This thing is well-made. Simple design but it is well-made and sturdy. Thick steel but not so much so that it is heavier than it needs to be. The black finish in this gives it a nice uniform look if that matters for you.

I got this to use in my RV to attach my dog crate to. It works fine for that. However, the edges were very, very sharp. The edges should have been broken before finishing. I was able to round the edges so that they didn't cut my upholstery but now bare metal is exposed and will have to be resprayed. Kind of a pain so if I had to do it again, I would return and try another manufacturer.
