AUTO METER 10003 Gauge Works Dual Instrument Cluster Bezel

These things always come in with slight nicks or scratches on them. I have always cleaned them really well and dyed them with SEM Landau Black which is the correct color black for Ford Mustangs. Even in the 99-04 Charcoal interiors, black gives it a nice offset (or do like I'm doing and swap to real black from a 94-98 parts car). Anyway, I have had issues with mechanical oil gauges before fitting with this bezel which is why I am all electric now. Something to keep in mind if you are planning to do that. Braided -3AN line I was using in place of the thin plastic oil line does not fit well with these.4 stars because they need paint and you can tell they are kinda cheap but they are the only option to put 2 gauges in otherwise dead space and they look fine once you clean them up and paint them.

Not bad. It does its job.Pros: holds two gauges, fits well.Cons: two ugly fasteners instead of stock retaining pins, hole for defroster is poorly dimensioned.With the amount of thought the manufacturer put into the mounting system, they could've easily duplicated the Ford method of the plastic tabs on the back of the unit. It would've looked so much better and would've held better too. Instead, they give us two ugly screws. Nice.Also, when tightened, the unit makes the defroster button look like something out of a lego set. The hole for the button is terribly off, rubbing up against one side of the button. It still works, but it definitely looks like @ss.And the headlight knob is no longer flush against the bezel.The only good thing about this piece is that is houses two gauages, and it doesn't make any creaking noises when going over bumbs.OVERALL: 3/5Better luck next time. :|

The plastic does not have the same texture as the bezel it replaces. The hole for the rear defrost button is oversized considerably.
