I get ALL my local stations now
I had an plastic square type fm antenna that couldnโt provide a strong enough signal for my favorite station. I tried the single wire with a connector type thatโs sold here, and I couldnโt even get a signal. I then bought this antenna and all the locals have a strong signal. The 300-75 xfmr is kind of cheap as others have mentioned, but it gets the job done. Just donโt over tighten the screws and youโll be fine. Best wishes

Tried and True Design .
This antenna was needed in my garage work bench. I used it to test reception and signal strength of various receivers. It is nothing special but rather a tried and true design that works for me. Thanks !

Worked great. Greatly enhanced my radio reception in my house.
It does what an antenna is supposed to do, increase radio reception, so I am very happy with it. It was a good price on it, also.

Good antenna, bad transformer
The antenna is well-built, but one of the balun transformer screws used to attach the antenna stripped out immediately when I attached the antenna. Very weakly manufactured. Do not recommend. Returned, which was not really worth the time it took to discover this flaw, re-pack, bring to UPS, and write this review.

Dipole antenna great - balun is flimsy junk that's too small for the dipole
Like all the other similar products, the dipole is great, but the Balun is so small the screws won't hold both tangs on the terminal connector. I went out and bought washers to hold both sides of the lead and the screw stripped. Ordered Phillips PH61020 instead and kept the dipole antenna. Shipping was good.

Easy install
Works great with my home stereo. I get stations more stations for listening. Easy to install.

Arrived defective - looked undamaged, just didn't work at all.
Arrived defective/broken. No obvious signs of damage or mistreatment. Exactly how you make a bit of wire faulty I have no idea, but it was. I tested it, and it just didn't work at all - poking my finger in the socket on my radio gave more signal than this thing. Maybe I just had bad luck, but it does make me question their QA process.
