Physical damage and poor quality
Arrived chipped in several places, sound hole was poorly cut and fraying, and the tuning pegs were completely disconnected from the strings. Shocking failure on Amazon's part, as this was to be a replacement for the same model that was lost while traveling, which was a very well-made and beloved little instrument.

LOVE IT.
My daughter LOVES this little guy. She has the next size up too, but this one is fun to take places because it's smaller to carry around. Last month, she took it on vacation in South Carolina and played it on the beach. All our friends were enjoying it so much, they kept giving her song requests!

Awful instrument
Does not tune, very low quality and just an awful instrument. Will be sending back. 1 Fret marker already fell out, I have had it for 1 day.

Awesome little starter uke!
Plays really well, better than I expected, pleasant tone. Good construction and looks nice. Took over a week to get the strings to stay in tune because they were new,but now it holds its tuning nicely. I love it and hate to put it down!

Great Little Ukulele for the Money
For the money this is a really great little ukulele; especially for anyone looking for a really nice starter instrument. (Or if you may-hap are a bit of a gear collector.) I've tried out some more expensive models from various brands that haven't sounded as nice as this one.It is really well put together with a sweet looking, unpretentious design, soft NOT-glossy finish, and it's intonation is VERY Close to being dead on.If you are interested in installing a strap button on this uke, there is a brace at the base to screw the button into.Like one or two other reviewers mentioned, it does take a little while to break in the strings and get the tuning to settle in, but it isn't a horrible while, and it isn't as though the tuning in between doesn't hold long enough to play and practice for a fair while in between tunings...I'm not sure exactly how lofty some peoples expectations re: holding tuning are; I don't know that this ukulele will ever break in its strings to the point of holding its tuning for more than a day or two, but again, for the price, it sounds fabulous, looks great, has great comfort of use, and having to clip on your snark and give the tuners a very light twiddle is a pretty small trade off if you aren't ready to invest in a much pricier model yet.
