UPDATE: I figured out (by simply reading ALL the specs) how to set up the free 6 mos trial!! Yay I’m good til Oct 2018!!! I also realized that the specs clearly state that the camera has a 115 deg wide angle view so I had to know what I was ordering before I got it!! Would still be nice to have that 360 deg feature but I had to update after some further reading! It really is fundamental!lol Anyhoo, the volume for my original camera is till low but not worth lowering my review score. I changed my review to 5 stars!!So let me just say that I’m a tough person to please when it comes to purchasing things online BUT I purchased a bundle pack (4) of these zmodo cameras and so far for the most part I am really pleased with the outcome. I had originally purchased two of these over a year ago for a great deal. But I ended up giving one away when I couldn’t figure out how to work or sync them. Good thing I kept one because I eventually let my hubby have a go at it and he set it up and it worked just fine! The only thing about that camera was the volume was/is a but low and doesn’t have an volume option to adjust the sound on the app. I guess that must’ve been one of buyers’ complaints because when I purchased these, over a year later, low and behold a volume option!! But the original one still doesn’t have that option which is kind of weird since they are the same exact model and should now have the same exact features. Nevertheless, I had to like it enough to purchase FOUR MORE! Overall the cameras are great we have four set up (the original which sits on our living room) and three of the new ones just purchased). We have 1 placed in the baby’s room, 1 in the basement and one by the front door! Couldn’t find a place for the 4th camera in the bundle package so I may just give it to someone😰. This would have gotten 5 stars but I really hoped it had the ability to swivel 360 deg. I had to set up some of the cameras a little weird in order for them to capture the entire room. I also purchased the bundle which advertised a 6 month free trial of cloud as part of the pkg but the app is only offering a 30 day trial???!! Any way to update this to the advertised 6 months free trial?Overall great cameras! Two way talking option, night/day(color) vision, motion detectors, device sharing, volume adjuster (seems to be an added enhanced capability), adjustable head (up/down) would love for it to be side to side as well though...again capturing a 360deg view...maybe that’ll be the next enhancement! I’d also love it if this were a dual (indoor/outdoor) camera so I could use all four...one for outside!!! But for the great bundle price I guess I can’t be too picky. All in all, so far a great camera and app, once you figure out how to sync!! I’m really happy with my purchase and the brand so far!!! Ok back to my 6 mos free cloud trial...can someone tell me how to set that up so I’m not charged after 30 days?? Also I received an email from Zmodo customer service notifying me that I would receive a free camera valued at $39.95 as a thank you for my recent bundle purchase! When will I receive that one??

I bought a 4 pack and used 3. Opened 4th camera after 30 days to find out it’s a used returned camera. Seller says I had 30 days. The white plastic is yellow like it burnt up. Afraid to use. Picture doesn’t seem to be 1080 but for the price it does what I need it to. Lesson learned, inspect your products before it’s too late.

[UPDATE JUNE 2018: I've been using Zmodo cameras for a full year now, in three different locations, and they've become my favorites. I've installed four different types of Zmodo cameras, ranging from these cheap $20 cameras to the 180-degree models. All work through the same app, which is convenient. Compared to the other brands of cameras I've also installed, the Zmodo cameras have been as easy to install and as reliable as any other brand. A big advantage of Zmodo cameras is that the basic cloud service is free, so you can see short (<10 second) video clips from every time a camera detected motion, without paying for a premium cloud subscription service. That's big. D-Link cameras are also good, but without the free cloud service tier, and D-Link's Omna camera is a train wreck. Foscam cameras work well, but their app isn't nearly as refined as Zmodo, and no free cloud tier.][UPDATE NOVEMBER 2017: I've been using these four Zmodo cameras for about five months now and have continued to be very happy with them. Zmodo has done some nice upgrades to their app, including integration with other home automation offers. It's good to see continued investment in product improvements by this company, since it suggests I'll get good life from these cameras.]Bought these on a Lightning deal because the cost was irresistible, at about $21 per HD camera, but wasn't sure what to expect at this price. Well, I've been very pleasantly surprised, and would recommend this four-pack as a great option for anyone looking to put in multiple home security cameras. Setup was very quick and simple. The app allows setting up multiple cameras in one pass, which is a neat feature (and one I don't recall seeing with my D-Link, Foscam, or Coolcam cameras). I was able to get all four cameras up and running on the network in one pass, in less than ten minutes total. The image quality is good, with a nice wide angle view. The design of the stand is OK, but not great. The stand is OK for free standing locations, or for wall mounting, but it's not as good for sitting on a narrow windowsill because the stand is a bit too lightweight and long. I don't use the motion sensing functionality, so I can't speak to how sensitive or reliable it is.The big selling point to me of this Zmodo 4-pack is price. I've used security cameras for years, and in my experience having enough cameras to cover all key areas of the house is key. I'd rather have four good cameras than one great camera.Bottom line: This 4-pack of Zmodo 720p cameras is a great solution for someone looking to install a multiple camera home security system at a very low cost per camera. Good cameras, good app, simple setup, OK mounts, at a price that makes it affordable to have enough cameras to cover a typical house.
