Excelente dock para montar discos duros. El ventilador es muy bueno, da buen flujo de aire para refrescar los discos. El material se siente muy bueno algunas partes principales son de metal para que la caja completa sea firme, estable y segura para los discos. Buenos acabados.

I love this internal cage. Easy to swap drives, I ended up replacing the fan with a noctua fan, I love those fans, quiet and great airflow, plus I prefer not to have lighting on my fans. Overall sturdy construction and great cage!

I love IcyDock products. I use them at work all the time. However, when purchasing this for a home project, I found that it would not properly fit a standard ATX case and motherboard without shorting the main.I returned it with no issues and have gone with an external case and SATA/SAS board.If this frame will fit your case, I will still vouch for IcyDock's quality and functionality.

The good is that fan on the front and the open cage that lets all the air blow through. If you have an old case with no provision for 120 or 140 mm fans, this gets you an excellent way to keep up to four hard drives at their golden temperature. The fan is reasonably quiet if your ear is not right next to it. The bad is that this is not a hot-swap drive cage. It is easy to slide the drives in from the front, but the SATA and power connections have to be made the old fashioned way inside the box. There is no back-plane SATA plug board for the drives to connect to. So, this is a good semi-permanent way to mount and cool drives in an old box or add 4 more drive bays in a full box where three 5.25" bays are unused. As the product photo shows, the fan is illuminated when the computer is running and there is no switch to turn off the bright blue LEDs so you have to do minor surgery if you prefer darkness. Another minor complaint is that the big Molex connector for the fan just reaches beyond the back edge of the cage near the motherboard where it is unnecessarily inconvenient to connect. To secure your drives there are plastic handles that attach to the front end of the drives with a pair of included screws and then latch into place in the cage.

Great for adding more hard drives to 5.25" bays. Takes a little time to install but can be figured out. The 120mm fan can be replaced with a non-LED one, and keeps the drives cool.

Great drive cooler. Very easy to install and good looking. Easy to access hard drive , fan, front air filter. Awsome!

If instead of the horizontal position, they set the placement vertically, there will be more space between the hard drives, improving the heat dissipation. It might interfere with your water cooling solution, so, take measurements before to avoid head aches.

Griglia in lamiera decisamente spessa e solida. La sola pecca sono i sostegni dei dischi che non essendo metallici dissipano poco il calore. Volevo lasciare la ventola spenta ma è necessaria per un adeguato raffreddamento, senza questa i due dischi seagate barracuda da 2tb sfioravano i 60 gradi, accesa restano sotto i 40. I led blu della ventola sono parecchio potenti, personalmente avrei preferito poterli spegnere ma per il momento tengo la ventola di serie.Cercavo una soluzione per ospitare quattro dischi in tre slot da 5 1/4, non necessito di hot swap o altro, lo sportello comunque è robusto. Consigliato.

Good drive cage if you have 3 5.25 bays sitting empty. The filter is easy to remove and clean. I did modify mine to reduce air leakage from the front and direct airflow through the hard drives as well I upgraded the fan to one that was designed for static pressure and quieter. This is the second one of these I have purchased for my server that runs 24/7 and I have not had any issues with overheating of the drives. I have seen some reviews that talk about drive corruption but this product is just a hard drive bracket it does not have any connection to the connectors on the drives so this isn't a problem with this version.

Facile à installer, bruit inexistant, bonne ventilation, y compris chez moi ou la poussière s'accumule rapidement. Il a été conçu de telle manière que la grille frontale joue son rôle, et même lorsqu'elle est obstruée, permet une bonne ventilation des disques qui restent à bonne température. Seul point qui n'est pas un problème, le verrouillage du dock des disques est parfois aléatoire. Cela n'a aucune incidence sur eux ou le produit. Je recommande.

Habe den Einschub in einem Sharkoon Gehäuse verbaut und bin sehr zufrieden.Größter Vorteil ist, das man jede Festplatte einzeln ein und aus schalten kann. Die Knöpfe sind so versenkt eingebaut das man sie nicht aus Versehen betätigen kann. Man braucht zum betätigen aber seine Fingernägel, also nichts für Nägelkauer, oder dann halt mit Kuli bedienen.Ich nutze den Einschub um von verschiedenen OS booten zu können. Es ist immer nur eine Festplatte gleichzeitig an, daher reicht die niedrigste Lüfterstufe. Auf höchster Stufe ist es doch etwas Lauter aber noch o.k.
