Struggles past 20m
Mixed review here. Firstly the positive: this is feature-rich little device and the price is cheap compared to e.g. the well known German brands.I tested the meter against an accurate steel ruler - millimetre precise from 60cm down to around 14mm.There are several easy to use features for calculating area/volume and other indirect measurements.It has 2 nice little bubble levels to help with accurate pointing.Now the major negative points. The problem is the advertised range. The range is nothing like 50m under real world conditions. I have struggled to take a measurement past 25m - and even then the device must be perfectly still and in low light conditions.The hand-held working range in sunlight is more like sub-20m.Maybe longer readings could be possible if it had a tripod mount but there is no fixing.Ruggedness: the unit feels fragile. I think it would not survive a drop. It has a wrist lanyard but a tougher body or a rubberised case would have been nice.I’m giving it 3 stars overall. It works as well as a Bosch unit costing 3x the price - but only up to about 20m so I feel advertising it as a 50m creates false expectations.

Works well indoors
Accuracy is questionable outside Ona. Bright dayIf your using internally as I mainly do for cabling etc it works well. If your measuring you car park maybe wait til it’s dark :-)

Good bit of kit....if a little complex to use all its features
Very clever item, I advise you read the instructions as some of the features are not super easy to understand, by that I mean the more complex measurements.

Its about as accurate as Joe biden!!
I will never buy again and wish i hadn’t wasted my money. consistently between 2 and 8mm out. I have wasted too many cuts being too short! DO NOT BUY this if you want any accuracy, ill stick to my tape measure as that works atleast!!!
