Poor Reliability----Already Failing Again After Bulb Replacement by Opalray
The media could not be loaded. These Supposedly " 20 years " life bulbs are starting to flicker on /off just after only 2 months of their installation. Video of flickering lights is attached to illustrate problems..........it is becomes a real headache when 2 out of 12 lights starts to periodically flicker brightly on/off for each element.Recently, after Amazon refunded for the one order of bulbs...........OPALRAY stepped up and offered to send 4 new replacement bulbs. They have been received and the 2 defective ones have been replaced---so far no new problems. OPALRAY was proactive in addressing the initial problemSame problem of blinking,flickering lights has now happened again with 2 new bulbs failing in the past 2 days. Obviously they have a major quality control problem

Great so far!
1/6 died after the first week. I'm hoping that was a fluke. Unfortunately I needed 6, which is exactly how many were included. Now I have no spare and they are now unavailable. Can't comment on their "dimmability", as I haven't tested it yet. Otherwise, they look good. I would order again to replace the dead bulb and to have spares if they were available.UPDATE: 4 replacement bulbs arrived at my door today, to my confusion followed by delight. I had to check my order history to see if they had returned to stock and I had placed another order after a few drinks then forgot about it. Can't wait to replace the dead bulb, drives me nuts every time I walk by the chandelier it's in. Eagerly awaiting the Wemo dimmer switch to release, which I bought these specifically for. Thank you to Opalray for the great (completely unsolicited) customer service. Will update on dimmability in the future if Wemo ever releases their dimmer.

Filament Sections Failing in Less Than Three Months!
Believe the other negative reviews about reliability. I bought the six pack in June for a bathroom fixture that used all six bulbs. Less than three months later, two of the six bulbs are failing with one or more random flickering or now dead segments, i.e. one or more of the four "simulated" filament sections.The flickering was so obvious and annoying that I had to take out the two failing bulbs. Very disappointing.I'm now off to Home Depot and Lowes to see if they have anything equivalent that I can use to replace all six of these bulbs.

very short life
I put 4 of these bulbs in a fixture that is only used a few minutes per day on average. All 4 had failed within a year and a half. When they begin to fail, they start flickering. After a few more days of use, the flicker is horrible. Shortly thereafter, no light at all.The fixture is in a temperature-controlled indoor area and the fixture itself is well-ventilated, so temperature is unlikely to be a significant contributing factor.

Look of traditional Edison type bulbs, but the benefit of LEDs.
These light are bright, and look very good in my chandelier. They do flicker below 20%, but I believe that is the dimmer switch not the lights. I do recommend these for cases where you want the traditional Edison type bulbs, but want the benefit of LEDs.

I ordered these bulbs to replace the bulbs in my Pottery Barn 12 light chandelier. I love them. They are much brighter than the regular bulbs, plus I really love the way they look. I would have given them 5 stars, but the description is a little misleading. Yes, they are dimmable, but they don't dim gradually. They will go full on, halfway, and off. Nothing in between. Other than that, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. No regrets.

Good replacement for 40 Watt incandescent bulbs.
I installed the bulbs six weeks ago. Of the six bulbs one has failed. The one that failed blinks on and off after it warms up.The bulbs look and work great but having one fail after just six weeks has me worried. My fixture uses five bulbs so I'm OK if no more fail.

Awful
They didn’t last for a long time.The first bulb started to flicker after a month.. the others shortly after that. Out of six bulbs only one still works and one flickers like a strobe light. A waste of money. Glad I can give them a bad review.. that’s worth the money I spent
