Doesn’t go low enough
I’m 5’11” and this chair is too high for me even in the lowest position. Unless you are long legged AF don’t get this.

Chair's gas cylinder is non-functional right out of box.
Bought this because we are renovating our bathroom and so we didn't get to opening it until today which happens to be 1 day outside of our return window. I unfortunately assumed it would be working when we put it together.Upon opening the item has clearly been used because there are scuff/scratch marks over most of the legs. After putting the gas cylinder in the base and then putting the seat on top, the cylinder does not raise or lower at all. We tried sitting on it while using the lever and it wouldn't move down nor does it move up when nothing is on it.We called Amazon support and they wouldn't take the return because it was just 1 day outside of the return window. A little grace would be nice there. Then when transferred to another help line I was disconnected. Now I'm stuck with a non-functioning chair that I spent over $100 for.Disappointed with the product and the service.UPDATE: I gave a start back because it can move up and down. I twisted the cylinder off the seat base and tested just the cylinder and that part seems to be working. However what doesn't work is that the arm is very loose and can move side to side which offsets it from the cylinder button. It's clearly a design flaw that it moves like that but knowing what the issue is you can get the height to move if you hold the lever forward and then lift it. Kind of annoying but hopefully not too much of an issue in the future.

Dangerous
I am disabled and ordered this chair to allow me to use my kitchen and cook for myself. Recently one of the legs just snapped off with no warning and I fell to the floor hurting myself. It was especially bad as a disabled person and was not able to get back up. I was stuck on the floor crying in pain for over 30 minutes until I was finally able to get up with help and hurt for days. It was still within the limited warranty, but unable to find any customer service information.
