Bright, but huge and mine buzzes...
I purchased this bulb back in 2016 to sit on the shelf for when the 5000k 1920 lumen bulb I previously had been happily using eventually died, as that bulb's brand was no longer being sold. The picture is deceiving because the relative amount of curls in the bulb mostly matched the old bulb and so I was very surprised when it arrived that it was like 25-30% bigger than the other bulb. That wasn't necessarily a problem but it is definitely something to be aware of that the bulb will not fit standard lamps. I use an upwards facing shade and I had to get a shade extension to block the longer bulb. The bulb is bright and efficient, definitely quality light source. However for mine at least there is a major problem that now that i've had it running for 4 months, i'm looking to replace it. It buzzes. It isn't louder than a mini fridge and when wearing headphones is not distracting. But in a silent room it is absolutely intrusive. I've tried it in 4 different sockets and the buzz is the same in all of them. If the bulb will last as long as my last one, I'm not going to "deal with" the buzzing for 6 years just to not spend another $6-12 on a replacement. It can stay as a forever "just in case" backup for me.

Mighty Bright, Mighty Big Bulb, Good for Photography
I bought the ALZO 45-Watt Photo CFL Full Spectrum Light Bulb to start my own poor-man's DIY photography lighting set-up. Before purchase, I read all the specs and liked the 5500 Kelvin rating. I also read all of the customer reviews and paid special attention to comments referring to its size. Everyone who says this light bulb is big is correct, and I've uploaded some pictures to prove it. It's significantly longer and wider than the bulbs you'll find at Walmart or Home Depot, and the particular bulb I own has a wide base that flares out abruptly which prevents it from fitting in a standard clamp light reflector, which, incidentally, prevents it from making proper contact inside the light socket. So for now I'm using the clamp lights without reflectors until I can find something suitable. Bear that in mind, since it may also prevent it from working with or fitting some standard light fixtures, as is clearly stated in the product description. As far as light quality is concerned, I'm pretty ecstatic. These things are bright. What also appeals to me is the very slight hint of blue they produce. It's a pleasant change to the standard "yellow" color of most light bulbs, and it seems to help make objects look more crisp and sharp. The pictures I've taken using these bulbs are bright and clear. Granted they're probably not as powerful as professional-grade bulbs, but they'll do in a pinch if you're on a tight budget. I find their light is also easier on the eyes than I anticipated, so I would also recommend them for general use.A number of reviewers have complained about the higher-pitched "hum" the bulbs emit. Since I'm only using them for photography, it doesn't bother me at all. Even then, the sound is pretty faint in my opinion, and I tend to keep things quiet. Still, since it presents a problem for some, I would suggest taking that into account if you need absolute quiet or if you find constant buzzing sounds annoying. One other thing I like about these bulbs is their light weight. Sure, they're a little heavier than a 26-watt standard "yellow" bulb, but they seem to weigh less than a GE 3-way bulb you'll find at Walmart. Perhaps that has to do with the mechanics of the 3-way bulb, but for now find it fascinating. So to recap,PROS:- Bright, white light with a slightly bluish tinge that makes details appear more sharp- Easy on the eyes (subject to opinion)- Light weight (though still heavier than a standard 26-watt bulb)CONS:- Too wide and/or long for a number of standard light fixtures. The abrupt flare of the base prevents it from working (making a proper electric connection) with some fixtures/light assemblies.- Constant buzzing sound (though for me this is not a problem at all, even for general everyday use)- Slightly bluish tinge (I like it, but I think a couple of reviewers have complained about it)Bottom line: Highly recommended

VERY GOOD TO TRY OUT, $6: 2800 LUMENS and 5500 Kelvin for more of a "natural" light.
ISSUE: This bulb is VERY LARGE and does not fit in any regular sized lamps. The issue is that the base is very, very wide so while it can screw in, the plastic just above the metal is wide to the point that the bulb does not fit in the lamp shade if you use a desk lamp. I will need to another lamp to accommodate this bulb and another bulb with these specs to fit my current lamp.Excellent light bulb and hard to find "natural light" at 5,500 Kelvins and with 2800 lumens. This is the closest so far that I have found to natural light, but EVERY bulb and light that I have tried so far still is not the same as outside natural sunlight. ALL the bulbs cast either a somewhat yellow tinge, EVERY ONE OF THEM and I will list the ones I have tried below. BUT, this was at a great price at $6 especially for 2800 lumens!!Also bought and tried:Feit Electric ESL40TN/D 40-Watt Compact Fluorescent High-Wattage Bulb, DaylightSold by: Amazon.com LLCVERY BRIGHT AND LIGHTS UP A LARGE AREAOttLite 25ED12R 25w Edison CFL Swirl BulbSold by: Amazon.com LLCBRIGHT AND LIGHTS UP A LARGE AREAGE Lighting 71765 Energy Smart Spiral CFL 26-Watt (100-watt replacement) 1660-Lumen T3 Spiral Light Bulb with Medium Base, 1-PackSold by: Amazon.com LLCBRIGHT AND LIGHTS UP A LARGE AREALAMPAT Dimmable LED Desk Lamp, 4 Lighting Modes (Reading/Studying/Relaxation/Bedtime), 5-Level Dimmer, Touch-Sensitive Control Panel, 1-Hour Auto TimeSold by: Angella BeautyNOT THAT GREAT, LIGHTS UP ONLY A SMALL AREA, GOOD FOR A STUDY/DESK LAMP, NOT FOR LARGE SCALE ART WORK

Stoped working after a few hours and one shattered when it fell
I bought two, the light was extremely bright and did not dim. One sopped working after a day and the other dropped and shattered. I didn’t realize they were made of glass.Disappointed with the cost and quality.
