Not much is written on the PMO in the context of agile. This is an excellent resource to learn more about this with practical guidance on how to get from a PMO to a VMO.

Great book on the concept of a VMO over a standard PMO. Well-written and covers the subject well. Highly recommended to take your PMO to the next level especially in an Agile environment.

This book is very insigthful, reminds that complexity is a mask of simplicity. The VMO acts as a conduit and enabler between:1. Executive action team focused on adaptive strategy.2. Value streams team based on customer Journeys.3. Lean portfolio management.4. Adaptive governance.

I bought both the written and audio book versions, and find them valuable both as an initial guide in some cases, and reference material and ideas to try in others. The style is very approachable for both business and technical readers and can be used to start (or restart) the journey to a focus on value-based delivery quickly and thoughtfully.
