Col. Conk Bay Rum Aftershave Cologne

Not only does it smell awesome it’s a great skin tightening on my face. Just like the kind of granddaddy used. I recommend this to anyone!

I've been using this aftershave for a few months now and it seems to be a nice complement to the Col. Conk bay rum shave soap. Maybe it's just me, but sometimes it strikes me as a bit to sweet and warm smelling as the weather gets warmer. To my nose the biggest top note seems to be cinnamon driven with a hint of clove. For reference, I have also used Arran Bay Citrus, and the original Burt's Bees Bay Rum in the past, both of which are more woody and herbal in aroma....and are both discontinued.

I've had my bottle for over three months. I splash some in my left palm, apply with right fingertips to my uppper face, and then a second splash with both palms for all around my neck. Great, not overwhelming at all. Feels invigorating on a freshly shaved face. Reactivates to full strength if you happen to find water hitting your face at some point in the day. I've taken the neck off the bottle, and barely the shoulders, but I'm ready to buy another bottle or two for when I run out. There's a reason men have always liked Bay Rum, because it smells good, and because companies like Col Conk know how to make it.

This stuff smells so good! Just like the Shaving soap. Smells like an old-timey barber shop.
