Fits in very well with my gingerbread theme in my kitchen/dinette area, but it was folded and mailed in a large envelope, so I'm still trying to get the creases out a week later. Also, it isn't lying flush with the floor, making it a tripping hazard. It might have been better if it had been smoothly rolled, printed side out, and wrapped in plastic or heavy paper for shipping, so it wouldn't have crease marks and it would have laid flat on the floor when unrolled. Since it's listed as being hand and machine washable, I'm going to try that to see if the creases come out. This is lightly padded, but don't expect it to be as thick as a chef's mat. UPDATE -- ended up throwing it out after tripping over the curled edges multiple times -- it would NOT lie flat, no matter what I tried.

Love this rug BUT, no matter what I did, it was almost impossible to keep the corners from curling. I ironed the rug, put in the dryer (low heat), sat gallon jugs of water on each corner, placed upside down for a day... I finally had to buy "rug grippers" to put on the back & now it stays flat - no longer a trip hazard!!!

Very thin and all of the corners turn upward so the rug won't lay flat.

I got the rug and the kitchen towels to match. Made the new kitchen look very well put together.
