Good quality
Not hard to install and good seal with the magnets. I like having the side opening so it is closer to door handle.

Most effective I’ve bought so far
I don’t leave reviews often, so I'm obviously very impressed to take the time to do this. I have had terrible luck with every magnetic screen I’ve bought. They tear up easily and stick open to my metal doors so they don’t serve their purpose. My refrigerator is in a weird place so the ones I’ve tried at that door either stick to the fridge or the door when my dogs walk in and out, rendering them useless. I bought one of these, installed it, and instantly purchased another. These work perfectly without sticking with the opening on the side instead of the middle. Plus it’s not awkward reaching for the door handle through a middle opening. The materiel they’re made with is much more durable than anything I’ve bought in the past and they look MUCH nicer! We have a lot of flies where we live and I haven’t seen a single one in the house since I put these up. They were very easy to install. I didn’t use the Velcro, just the nails. My only complaint is that the two Velcro tabs stick a little when opening. I took the Velcro that came with it and made a spot to loop the Velcro tabs back when I don’t want to use them which worked perfectly.

Magnets work well.
I bought this with the intent of allowing my dogs to go out but for it to close behind them. I recently had a situation with covid n wanted to keep fresh air coming in but not bugs. The problem is I have cats, if u have cats also this isn't the right choice. I looked at the ones with cat zippers but with my dogs they will hurt themselves eventually as they fly in and out of the house. The length and width were not what I wanted in this type of Screen. My door is 33 1/2 by 78" closest fit. However I seen that it can be done outside as well. It actually is a Velcro Strip goes on the wall then sticks to the back of the screen that can be taken down. Paint with it I imagine. However, easy n quick to install and works perfectly minus the tie they give us to hold it open. That will have to come with your creativity most likely. It does have a velcro strap at the bottom to help keep cats in but over time that will weaken. I'm content with the purchase as for the value it was perfect for what I needed.Dogs were confused at first then it became a play thing. They love it.It's by a backdoor no one really sees so not such an eyes sore.I've included pictures to show how I installed it around the door so that I can stick my hand in an open the door for them to run out with.

works well
This screen is just what we needed for our sliding glass door. I installed it myself in about 1/2 hour. It is secure and keeps the bugs out. The magnets hold the screen securely. The cat and dog have not caught on yet to being able to go thru the center.

So far so good
I read reviews before purchasing. Don't depend on the adhesive strip to hold this up. Use the tacks! I LOVE having the opening on the side, which in turn has less wear and tear on the entire screen unit. Super easy to install. So far I LOVE this. I live in a rental and there are few options to installing a screen door. This is the perfect product. I will take it down in the fall when we don't have a need to open the front door anymore.

Good re-close-ability
The media could not be loaded. The product has a sturdy hem that made installation easy. Measurements were spot on. I like the offset opening- as it allows me to access the door handle/lock easier. Dogs can easily push open without pulling off wall (I used the push pins, not Velcro). Door self-re-closes well. Hope this holds up for at least the summer!

Some disappointing features to watch for
My patio door is 36" x 79" with the trim measuring 2" wide. I chose the 36" size, which is perfect for my door. I have used a cheaper screen before, so I took great care to clean the trim, including a gentle sanding to knock down the surface to a smooth finish, then washing with TSP (Spic N Span) to clean the residue. I applied the velcro strips to the curtain, as instructed but ran into some design issues. In future, I, personally, will go for the traditional "down the middle" opening.DISAPPOINTMENTS, but not deal breakers ... (see photos)1. The tabs to secure the magnet closure are accessible from only one side. In my installation, they were on the outside. To use them, I'd have to close them from outside but then could not come back into the house. Otherwise, they'd be on the inside, making access from the outside the issue. ALSO, there is no way to secure these tabs open, so I just used a desk stapler to keep them from folding back to lock again.2. The images in the above description showing the screen being tied open are a bit misleading. There is a severe limit to how wide the curtain can be held open. I suspect the width of your doorway will dictate how it will tie open.3. The supplied velcro tie-backs are simply not long enough for my door, and I never did figure out how to use them. Instructions would be helpful.POSITIVES worth noting ...1. The fit for my 36" x 79" door with 2" trim around the door frame was perfect.2. With careful cleaning and preparation of the surfaces, the velcro seems quite secure. I do not anticipate any issues.3. The magnets are very secure with an almost continuous seam of attachment along the full length.4. Closure IS quiet, as described5. Installation, Removal and reinstallation is easy, but dependant upon the velcro attachment to the door frame. The surface must be clean and even (smooth). A light sanding before cleaning might help.
