Would buy it again for 3c hair. Simple to use and works well. Straitens curly hair. Good size for a lot of hair.

**UPDATE: 2/26/21 - Just bought a second one — first one is still perfect & works 100% the same as Day 1; I bought a second so one is always handy at home or at our vacation cottage! This is the shortcut to a sleek, straight look for my long, wavy hair! I’m amazed at how effective and fast it is to transform “beach hair” to “date night hair!” It’s a reliable and well-made appliance! This is the second heat straightening brush that I owned, and what an improvement: I can’t say enough good things about THIS ONE! It’s far superior to any other one I’ve tried. The design is unique in that the heated bristles are more like rigid fins than hairbrush bristles, which is VERY effective on smoothing and straightening my hair into sleek plaits. I have medium-fine, sort of wavy/sort of straight long hair, and if I don’t blow-dry it with a brush after washing or sleeping on it, it tends to look like a witchy mess. I usually wash it every third day and rely on dry shampoo for an in-between refresh, but I’m impatient about the time and effort it would usually take to get “date night” sleek hair using a standard flat iron (or my old $25 straightening brush from Sally Beauty) on a daily basis. This brush has changed my routine 100% because it’s so FAST! I’ve attached three photos, all taken after I’d spent the day after sitting on the beach in windy, humid, ocean air — and the “frizz effect” was in full bloom. These pics were taken within minutes of each other when I went indoors to style my hair: “The Before”, Then “3 minutes in and one side done”, and “The After” — The whole process only took me about seven or eight minutes from beginning to end, including the time it took to heat the brush up to 410°, which is almost instant. The first day that I used the brush, I had an appointment with my hair stylist for a touchup on my highlights, and she was raving about how smooth and sleek my long hair looked. She’s been taking care of my hair for several years and knows how I normally arrive to the salon so her compliment was genuine — she even asked for the details on my new MiroPure Straightening Brush so she could refer it to her other clients. The bottom line is that this is a well-constructed appliance that does exactly what it promises, and I couldn’t be happier with it… Worth every penny!! (Just to clarify, I give it three stars on drying power because that’s not what it supposed to do. There is no airflow — I did use it on slightly damp but mostly dry hair once and the heat was enough to remove the remaining moisture underneath and around my neck, but I wouldn’t rely on it for transitioning from wet hair, use a blowdryer first.)

This works great! I have medium thickness very wavy hair. It took me longer to blow dry my hair than it did to straighten it with this tool. I never straighten my hair because it’s a hassle having to put it into layers and straighten each section. I literally just brushed my hair with this by pulling it tight and it did the job! Not as pin straight as with a straightener but pretty close. Just made my life a lot easier!

Ever since Junior High, I've gone through many straighteners. All of them seeming to get the job done but taking forever. I fell in love with a chi hair straightener because is straightened my hair the fastest; instead is spending 45-60 mins on straightening my hair, I was able to reduce it to 30 mins. Then I moved on the the wet 2 straight hair straightener which was nice & fast because your hair is condensed when it's wet but you had to let it dry a little bit so that it was just damp; not soaking wet. So that annoyed me because I like to be able to straighten my hair when I want & not wait on anything. Now, at age 28, I’ve fallen in love with this straightening brush. It is the fastest I’ve ever been able to straighten my hair. My hair is just a little below shoulder length & I was able to straighten my hair between 10-15 mins the first time. I could probably straighten my hair in 10 mins flat now that i know the right temperature to straighten my hair at & the best method to straighten it. For those of you who don't know what temperature settings to use, I did a lot of research on this. 380-390 degrees if your hair is slightly wavy, thin, or is already kind of straight & you just want to tame it. There is no 400 degrees, so bump up to 410 degrees for thicker and/or curly hair. You might have to go 410+ for very curly & coarse hair. I used 410 on my hair & it worked like a dream (I have thick, German/Irish/Scandinavian hair with springy curls). To get the brush up to 410 was really fast; only took a few seconds to heat up. Just a note, you will want to use the glove for best results so you can handle the brush better without fear of burning your hand. Also, for best results, you will want to brush your hair with a regular brush first. This gets rid of all the knots/tangles in your hair & will significantly reduce the amount of hair strands you need to clean out of the straightener brush. It will also reduce the amount of time it takes to straighten your hair bc you won't have to worry about tangles and knots now. I do not recommend using the straightener brush as a regular brush. I do not know if you can use this while your hair is damp. I assume you can, but I have no idea what the result will be. I personally prefer not to straighten my hair when it's damp because it has more of a straightener frizz as opposed to a nice, sleek straightening. And why did I end up going with this brand? Bc the price is great for the product and I felt the reviews were very good. So far, I have no cons yet.

Quality is amazing grip works perfectly I have very thick hair and it straightens my hair fast and heats up fast!! Love the glove that come with it they are very durable

Works great without too much effort but it only comes with a left hand glove so it’s pretty much useless if you are left handed as then you would need a right hand glove. Many people still forget that we aren’t all right handed but the straightener itself works fine. It’s gets pretty hot and you are able to lock the temperature in so you don’t accidentally turn it up or down.

It leaves me beautiful smoothing, easy to use with only 2 passes the frees disappears it is totally complete if I hurt myself make waves it leaves them perfect

Really good hair straightener. I use it on my natural hair when I don’t want to actually flat iron it. It gets the hair really straight with just 1-2 passes but it’s more of a blow-out look, not a silk press look. But that’s the look I want. Great for doing a sleek bun.

The product came very nicely packaged. Every item that is presented in the picture is all included with purchase. Nothing came damaged. The initial scent of the product smelled like stale alcohol but did not last after taking it out of the packaging. The overall brush is easy to use. It turns on quickly. There are three buttons on the bottom (button to increase and decrease the temperature and the on/off button). The brush has a matte finish. The brush heats up VERY quickly (about 15-20 seconds). When turning off the brush, it does about 14-17 minutes to fully cooldown. The swivel cord is a neat addition to the brush but is definitely not necessary. The glove itself feels comfortable (the wrist part stretches which accommodates all hand sizes). In general, this product is very helpful and efficient. It left my hair feeling sleek and smooth. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family. I do not know whether this product will work with curly hair as my hair is naturally straight. I use a straightener just to ensure that the straightness of my hair stays that way for the entire day.

I got this product seeing the features section that it would work between 110v to 220v. But when I saw the product manual this works only at 120v..now I need 2 invest in a good voltage converter or I could have just purchased something that would work in India.. Please do not mislead.

For girls on the go, this is a must have product. You can finish styling your hair within ten minutes. It imparts good volume and shine to your hair. Heat damage is less compared to flat iron. It should be used only on dry hair. If you are using it in India or European countries you will have to use a step down voltage converter 220 volts to 110 volts.

It's good to work

So I just received my hair brush straightner today. I love the look of it. They have all the approved stamps for electrical. Which was one of my main concerns since I took a electrical engineering technologist course. I was scared it may not be approved for use within Canada. I tried it out on my hair and it works amazing. As you can see from the photos. Took me like 10 minutes to do my hair. I just need to purchase some frizz spray for my hair. Since I didn't use any products it left my hair frizzy still but that isn't the products fault. That's my hair. I would recommend getting spray if you have frizzy hair. The brush went through my hair amazing. No pulling what so ever. I am completely happy with my purchase and recommend this product to everyone. As stated in lots of reviews it doesn't work great on short hair so I will need to use my straightner on my bangs but otherwise amazing overall.
