One you try these you will never go back to spring loaded scissors again!!!
So I have always used the spring loaded scissors for trimming and defoliating my medical Cannabis plants and flower and the body of mine recently recommended these to me and I will never ever use a spring loaded parent scissors for trimming again! I have carpal tunnel in both my hands plus a herniated disc in my neck that causes my hands to go numb and tingly, but like painful as hell. These didn’t hurt my hands at all. I’ve tried both the straight blade like my buddy had and the curved blade which is the one that I ordered and I love the curved blade. Don’t get me wrong. The straight blade was very high-quality and nice and I would use that too, but my personal preference is the curved. They are super sharp and can cut through thick stands no problem. Resin doesn’t build up as badly on these because of a special coating they have on them, you still get finger, hash and stuff built up on it that you do have to clean off eventually, but it’s never as bad and doesn’t get nearly as sticky as other scissors! Great price for a high-quality pair of trimming scissors, I will definitely be ordering more!

Going strong after 5 years…love these!
Best scissors I’ve ever had! I grow my own bud, & these are the bomb for trim jail! I’ve always hated those spring loaded shears, and these scissors are so easy to use, sharpen & clean. They hold their edge for quite a while, and that’s cutting through tough cannabis stems. I love this pair so much that I just got my order with two more Chikamasa pairs to replace other, cheap ones I’m discarding. You can’t go wrong with these for trimming bud!

Must-have item, undisputed king of trim scissors.
Chikamasa b-500 series are the truth. Even if you prefer spring loaded, you should have some of these to switch up the muscle groups you're fatiguing. They're razor sharp and they stay razor sharp through tens of lbs of material plus, darn near eternal with enough care. Minus one star only for the curved versions because I've seen more than one of the curved model specifically come with a little chip in one blade that renders them very frustrating to use (I just received a defective pair of B-500SRF so double the shipping time and I have to physically return at least one), and they cost more than the straight blade version with little/no functional improvement for me. I haven't seen a pair of the straight or L blades come damaged right from the package just yet, only the curved. Straight blades last much longer than curved too.
