Bought in 2019, Reviewed in 2023
These dimmer/blocker sticker sheets are highly recommended. I bought this set to use in 2019 and nearly all of them I have applied have not been dislodged through two moves. What is most impressive to me is that they are still easily removable, and don’t leave visible residue after that long. I just moved and had a new spate of crap to dim, and I am still using that 2019 purchase for targeting them. It’s impressed me enough to go back *four years later* to write this review. The one trade-off for these is that they’re meant to lie sheer against a surface. The plastic these use to block the light is too stiff to drape over multiple hard edges / corners. if the device has weird trim around the lights that makes the surface jagged, you’ll have to use the smaller stickers (or the custom sheets) and fiddle a bit to cover it. The specific issue I ran into was a computer monitor with a narrow, clear plastic protruding from the bottom of the monitor with an LED under it. I’ve used these on dozens of devices, and I’ve only run into that problem once or twice.Happy LED hunting :)

Just as described
Did exactly what they were supposed to do. On one surface was hard to adhere to, but that's to the item's build. Very happy with these.

the solution to LED light pollution in your home
i really wish it were possible to take every electronic engineer by the ear and force them to sit in all the rooms of my house in the dark and observe just how absurdly bright their always on LED choices are. ...then maybe they'd freaking stop shoving LED lights onto every damn thing that's manufactured today.that said. these little dims qualify as the single greatest quality of life invention since the advent of "LED ALL OF THE THINGS" happened.my absolute favorite way to use these is to layer the original dims sheet over the top of the amber dims sheet. the amber perfectly neutralizes the blue light pollution while the original lowers the overall ambient light emitted.everything from my washer and dryer (who for reasons known only to the engineers, use bright white LEDs that are visible from the outer most edges of the solar system) all the way down to my robot vacuum (which insists that I desperately need a flood light for the entire living room) have been slathered in dims. much to my eternal gratitude.literally could not sleep in my house for all the light pollution from LEDs prior to discovering DIMS. thank you so much for such a simple product that makes such a huge difference.

Great way to increase your quality of sleep
If you read any sleep books lately, you know how important is to keep your bedroom as dark as possible to increase sleep quality. I used to just use electric tape to cover the pesky lights, but then I couldn't see if the lights are on or not, which is important for some electronic devices such as modems and routers.I'm glad I found these. The pack includes both pre-cut shapes and whole sheets that allows you to cut into any shapes, and they come with various level of light blocking levels. I'm glad I bought the whole pack, now I have more than what I need to block all the lights all around the house. My own test (see the photos above) shows that in the order of increasing light blocking effectiveness (least to most effective is, % of light blocked):Original (<50%) < Silver (60-70%) < White (80%) < Black Out (95%+)Pros:1. Various light blocking effectiveness to satisfy various applications2. All are quite sticky, and easy to apply3. Various pre-cut shapes so not to waste materialCons:1. The silver sheet has a lot of scratches, making it's light blocking effectiveness uneven based on the piece you use2. The pre-cut ones favor the smaller dots which are not really that useful, not as a good value as the whole sheetsTips:1. You can apply multiple layers (even different types) to achieve the in-between light blocking levels2. The original one is so thin, you should use 2 tapes segments (1 on each side) to peel them apartIf you are looking to darken your rooms to the exact level you want, these will be your best bet. Sweet dreams.

Stop complaining and get your dark back!
This is the greatest product ever for those of us who are irritatingly sensitive to nighttime bedroom illumination. I have driven my poor husband nuts over the years with my complaints about the piercing laser light that eminates from his clock radio (and yes, I did buy it for him, but I didn’t know!)but honestly, the light from that awful thing was almost bright enough to read from. I bought him a very nice analog radio this summer, and unknown to me when I ordered it, it had a bright green led light in it that illuminated the entire bedroom. I had the great idea several months ago of putting paper tape over some of the lights, but it wasn’t effective. Then I accidentally found LightDims while looking around on Amazon. OMG- it’s amazing. Having the entire set has changed my life. Really! I have toned down the leds in just about every room in the house. It’s so great to be able to dim but not eliminate things like the led clock on the dvr. It’s still readable, but it doesn’t burn my retinas anymore. I’ve used the black out dots on lots of annoying plug in items, as well as the DVD’s and stereo tuner. I used a large piece of the 50% dimming film on the analog radio, covering the entire display. The tuner is totally visible, but no longer keeps me awake. I’ve used pieces of each type of film in the set, and have enough to probably last another ten years. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone bothered by unnecessary light pollution in their own homes. It’s made my life more peaceful, and stopped a major irritation.
