Works great for the water separator sensor on a 6.7 Cummins. Since the sensor is made of plastic using vise-grips is not advisable and the nut is big like a 1-5/8" so having this tool from Lisle just makes sense if you do your own maintenance on your diesel truck. It fits well and is not expensive. No risk of splitting or damaging your sensor and ruining your day. Lisle tools are quality and made in the US. My go-to for specialty tools.

If you have a Duramax, you need one of these in your tool box. I keep one in my truck box, just in case I have to change a fuel filter on the side of the road. I recommend you try once to change the filter with just what you have in your truck. I did, and realized I was missing a couple of basic tools that I needed. This would be one of them. You can do it with pliers but risk cracking the plastic water sensor, so use the right tool for the job. It's cheap, it works, there's no excuse. Order it.

Purchased 01/05/2022 - I've used this wrench a few times now. Quality is good. It works as intended and makes it easy to get the filter off. It does fit the Ram 3500 6.7 Diesel without issue. If you need one, it is a recommended product. Can't speak to the Ford or Chevy diesels...
