as with other reviews seemed very good at first but 8 months on and the capliper has started to lock up after applying the electronic parking brake, upon removing rear wheel to inspect found the cable to be perfectly free but when applying an amount of pressure to the park brake lever it sticks on until tapped with something to release it. Not at all impressed even at the cheap price.

Do not waste your money, hand brake sticks in on position, it is only 3 months old. very poor quality/control.

I am looking to get all four brakes calibers so that I can have them paint dipped to red ready for fitting to my 2014 Jaguar XF. I had my calibers painted red and lacquered about six months ago but they are already showing signs of wear due to stone chips so having them dipped will be a longer lasting option.On opening, this nearside rear brake caliber looks to be well made and comes complete with the piston and handbrake section. When matching this new unit up to the one fitted on my car it looks identical in dimensions and in the component parts fitted to it so it should be a straight swap over when it comes to the fitting.For the price of £43.99 (at the time of writing) this is exceptional value for money and looking at the build quality I see no reason for this not to work just as well as a much more expensive OEM part.Well made and terrific value for money.Recommended.

Worked fine to begin with but started sticking after about three months

Once affixed, the Brake Caliper did the job without fuss. I had no issues with the brake system compatibility, and installation was straightforward. The electronic parking brake functioned seamlessly with it, not an iota of difference felt. Not to mention, I did notice a discernible improvement in braking power. Just keep in mind that this isn't suited for 43mm piston diameters, so compatibility checks are key.
