This Batting Tee is fantastic for younger children who have an interest in baseball or T ball but require some solo practice. It is very simple to install; upon arrival, there are two pieces that connect to each other without any tools required. A manual is provided with detailed instruction as well as photographs for each step. There are also instructions and accompanying photographs for how to fold and store the batting tee without having to dismantle it. It folds into approximately 22" x 4", as the legs lock upwards and remain locked into place until you are ready for use again. Then, the three legs unfold and lock into position and the base is lowered or raised to the appropriate height.This batting tee is very stable and durable. It has extra thick rubber padding around the top base of the tee that is capable of taking harder hits without breaking. In the event that it becomes loose, it can be easily reinforced or fixed with some sports tape wrapped around the bottom. This does not create any issues with the functionality, for it does not impact the flexibility that the rubber padding provides.I would definitely recommend this batting tee, especially for younger players who need to practice their swing and hand-eye coordination. Beginner players who either wish to continue T ball or move onto baseball would benefit greatly from having this to practice. It is portable and compact, so taking it to the nearest open field or baseball field is not an issue. It is both fun to use and helpful in developing baseball skills.

I was excited about this tee for my 6 yr old. Very easy to use and put together, but quality is absolutely terrible. It broke after 1 use and it no longer stands on its own. Plastic tabs that lock legs into place broke, making the tee useless. It was also very flimsy and would fall over any time he would hit the tee. Returning to Amazon.

My grandson plays tee ball and his dad helps coach, and they have quite a long walk from the car to the field. Most of the traditional tees are awkward to carry with the large attached bottom plate, and often they don’t have an extra free hand to carry the tee and all the other accessories needed for practice. When I saw this tee, I was very intrigued by the design and portability and hoped it would solve the transport issue. Upon arrival we were all very impressed with the overall quality, made with stylish, durable materials and a unique look compared to traditional tees. It is also extremely sturdy with the tripod leg design, making those wobbly rubber traditional tees lose their appeal even more. Setup was also very simple, only taking my son a minute or two to get everything up and running for batting practice. When finished, the tee folds up to about the size of a baseball bat and was easily stored in one of the bat holding areas in my grandson’s baseball bag. While the transport design was the primary reason we found this tee, the stability and durability aspects have been very pleasant surprises. So happy we found this!

This tee works great. However, after the third use for 10U kids, a piece of metal on one of the bottom legs broke off, and now the tee is unusable. Too late to return now...

This Easton Core Batting tee has an adjustable hitting height between 26 and 42 inches. The tripod-style legs fold in and out for easy transport and setup. Seems stable when standing. This is designed for bats to hit the ball and not for bats striking the tee. The post is metal and has no flexibility, however the tee topper is flexible, but still not intended to beat on. I got this for my grandson who likes to hit baseballs but has grown out of short, plasticky, whippy “t-ball” style tee.
