it’s a cracking little machine. We moved from a kitchen with a huge fridge/freezer with ice maker to a place without any such facility.We like ice in our drinks so was looking for a reasonably cheap alternative and found several available in Amazon.This one had an offer on it this I paid less than it was advertised for but at even full price; this is a great little machine. It’s very portable, quite heavy but can be moved to wherever there’s a power source. It doesn’t take long to make ice and the ice made is of reasonable quality.It’s quite noisy but then it’s in a utility room which isn’t large, and the instructions aren’t the best (I didn’t realise that I had to press the green light once it was lit to get it to start making ice as it wasn’t clear in them) but overall it’s incredibly easy to use and brilliant value for money!

I like this product. Once you fill it with water, you get 8 cubes in about 10 mins and then another batch every 8 mins approx. It gets faster as the water in it cools as it goes through it's cycles, making it easier to freeze. Best thing is to turn it on 30 mins before you need ice. The ice is quite small which makes it great to cool a drink fast. It seems well made and it's fun to watch it making ice and moving the ice into it's basket. But be aware.... It does not store the ice. Once the ice is made, you need to put it in a freezer. I just put the basket in which is fine. It uses distilled or filtered or spring water, not just tap. Once it has finished, there is about 250mm of your spring water unused and you have to drain it. Draining means holding the unit over the sink and pulling the drain plug. But the floor of the water compartment is flat so it's hard to get it all out, you need to use a cloth to soak it up. You need to get some ice machine cleaner and clean it often. I think it is great value. Quite a complicated machine for the price. I have only run it 3 times so cannot speak about reliability. I do recommend it. I now always have some ice in the freezer and I like hearing and seeing it making ice. Hope this helps.

I actually bought this to make ice so that I could keep the water cool for an Axolotl. Anyhow, as an ice cube making machine, it has far exceeded my expectations. It's brilliant and works really well and I couldn't stop watching it as it goes through the various movements making the ice cubes.It's not as described in that it actually takes just over 10 minutes per 9 ice cubes, but it's close enough and after just leaving it to do its thing, it soon fills up the inner basket full of ice cubes. It has a water sensor and will stop and alert when it needs refilling. It also has a basket full sensor and again stops until you've emptied the basket. It looks good too, far better than expected.All in all, I can highly recommend this ice cube maker at a great price too.

We need ice in our household and find that most ice machines dont last too long - 2 years tops. What I really like about this machine is the fact it turns itself onto standby when the basket is full and the motor stops. Im hoping that over time this will enhance the lifespan. The ice cubes are quick to produce, and of a good enough size for my G&T. Lovely little machine - ample for home use.

Nice size works well reasonably price

I don't like drinks with tap water makes good icecubes. The machine does get rather warm if on for a while.
