How to get the most out of it
the first thing i did was put all the chunks in a bowl of water. the chunks broke apart naturally to smaller chunks that are easier to chew on. once the fizzing stops, i place the chunks on a tray and let them air dry for 1-2 days. after that it’s so easy to chew and the earthy taste is more concentrated and amazing! had my mouth watering!

Tastes good, who knows how safe it is
What a strange thing to review. I developed pica due to anemia and have been looking for sort-of safe things to chew. Please note nothing about this clay is actually edible. It's just clay from the ground somewhere in Russia that someone stuck the word edible on. It's more crunchy than chalky, like chewing thin sheets of porcelain. There isn't much taste at all, just a very pleasant slight earthy taste. Like the smell after the rain. I try not to swallow too much of this, I mostly chew it and spit it out. Oh, and I told my dentist about this habit and he said my teeth don't look like they've been damaged by it.

No taste or Smell Very Gritty, Seems like Compressed Sand
Horrible, no taste or smell. It looks promising and even are you wet it, is like sand. Not clay at all. No earthy anything about it. You’ll be disappointed especially if you are used to the type of clay from small country towns in the US.

Good if you like gritty
I’ve been “testing” so now have a better idea of what I personally like (creamy.) But if you like gritty, then this is good. Not much flavor but I’ve found if you have a certain herb or spice taste you like, just add a little to the bag and it will absorb the flavor, cinnamon, etc.

Not bad but not great
I liked the taste but I'll dont think you get enough for what you pay for and some of the chunks were too thick( I had to break them up with a hammer). Save you money and get a different clay. Update: So I did end up buying it again and it was much better the second time. I got more the second time and the chunks weren't as big as they were the first time I got it. Still don't think you get enough for your buck but I really do like the taste. I've gotten it three times now. It is a little hard to chew too. Oh and if you do end up getting it, let it air for five days to a week it will be have a stronger taste and won't be quite as hard as when you get it. Updated: the third time I got it, it wasn't good at all. It had a horrible old taste like it's been sitting out in a moist damp dungeon or something. The clumps were big and hard to bite in to. Oh and it was sticking to my teeth and had a faint gummy feel. I'm sorry but this one has done it, I will not buy this again.

Just very good
Just very good and clean, but a little bit too costly.
