The perfect casual shoes
Excellent fit for wider feet. The price is more than reasonable. The shoes typically last me 6 months. For such a wide shoe, it doesn't look bulky and feels comfortable for up to a couple of hours on my feet. All makes the styled lettering much more muted.

Great for Wide Feet!
So I wanted to get back into skating. I decided to get a pair of lakai telfords, they were my favorite when I was younger, but they DO NOT make shoes for wider feet which is unfortunate. So I found these. Good deal, classic skating shoes, etc.The box was pretty beat up, but granted, these shoes aren't from the new line. First thoughts, looked great. Notices they were wide, and chuckled a bit when I saw how fat the tongues are, more of a nostalgic laugh. Slip them on, fit absolutely perfect. The top lace holes weren't wrapped in, so I suggest using them. They slip on and off flawlessly, and its hard as hell to find shoes like that nowadays. One flaw is the quality of the soles. They're very thin, but with the price of them i'm not worried about it. In all honestly, I think everyone should have their own set of dedicated soles for their shoes. Weather has been shit, so I haven't been able to skate yet, but with how these feel, I have no doubt in my mind that they will work beautifully.Just to note; Very very slippery in snow and pretty slippery in rain, so just be careful.

For 35 bucks very impressive quality
Shoes look very nice and feel comfortable. They are the typical flat bottom shoe, so you’re not going to get any fancy cushioning or arch support with these. The tongue is what you’d expect for a “skater” shoe where the tongue is ginormous, but if you lace all the way up you can help get the tongue tucked around the sides so it looks more normal. All in all, these shoes are stylish and presentable, especially for the price.Sizing is right on the spot, they feel smaller though because the padding around the ankle causes the foot to push forward. In my case, it caused my toes to slightly touch the tip, but not uncomfortably so. You might have to go a half size up if that really bothers you, but then you would deal with the size of the shoe in general being larger. The extra padding would probably help with that though.

DC skate shoes
This is one of my favorite shoe brand, and I am always satisfied with them. Comfort is pretty good, they are made very well. With sewing of the bottom instead of gluing they are good quality. They are not expensive like some others. I can walk and do lots of things in these shoes, I have several pairs of DC’s and I have never been let down by them before.

Oversized tongue, but otherwise nice looking
You cannot see that in the pictures, so my rating is low, but the tongue of these shoes is oversized. This is certainly done by design, so I don't understand why the pictures do not reflect that feature. I would have preferred if it was a normal tongue size but would not have been able to know given the pictures.Other than that, those shoes look great, they have a nice color and style, and are super comfortable. I still can't help but see that I'm walking with pillows on my shoes, I may get used to it, but I encourage the seller to more accurately show what the shoes look like.
