Exactly what was needed. Able to set the plug to the correct voltage and polarity required. More than satisfied.

My grandmother had a small radio she used to listen to all the time and continually asked me to get batteries for her. I tried rechargeable batteries but she was never satisfied, she didn't like them, they never lasted long enough. When mother passed we could not bring ourselves to get rid of that radio although it was probably not worth much. Funny how you remember things about loved ones when they are gone. She would also say one of these days I am gong to get me a plug in for that radio but she never did. I was fine with the rechargeable but I wondered if I could find the correct power supply for the radio. I searched several times to no avail. then I looked at the back of the radio and the input configuration. Still nothing I wondered if there was some kind of universal transformer but nothing seemed be the correct power and the correct input until I ran across this little gem. It has to be expensive I thought but i was determined to get something that worked. This device has 6 different connections so the guess work of getting the correct input was done for me (I would check however to make sure the polarity is correct). On the transformer which plugs into regular house current 120 AC there is a small switch on the side going from 3v 4.5v 5v 6v 9v 12v Switching Power Supply 1 amp AC to DC Universal Adapter 12w Transformer with 8 Tips 2.35 x 0.7mm, 2.5mm, 3.0 x 1.15mm, 3.5 x 1.35! I was ecstatic when i got the transformer just like a tech kid on Christmas morning. If this thing would work on the radio and it did I would be totally satisfied. However a couple days ago my Wife Margaret wanted to mail the children some Christmas gifts. We needed a scale. I told her we had one but probably needed a new battery. I remember the reason we had not used it in over 10 years it had a square battery and we just never got around to getting one. Then I had an idea I looked at the back and there was an input for external power supply. These things never seem to come with their own stuff I guess thats marketing or something but boy what a hassle. I looked for the correct input pulled out the one for the radio and plugged in the correct one for the scale and it worked perfectly I may have to get another one for my radio! I just wanted to send my appreciation for making such a useful product. Oh and the cost? I was pleasantly surprised very affordable.

Works good. Solution for hard-to-find jack polarity, negative inner conductor. No measured power draw at no-load, measured with 0.1 VA and 0.1 watt resolution. Yay.

Worked perfectly for a weird 12v guitar effects pedal I have, and works very well in general for multiple uses.

GOOD: Very versatile - number of different tips & configurations should be able to fit just about any application. BAD: No voltage label on adapter like it shows on box, but not tough to figure where it's set - turn arrow to one end & count detents as you turn to other end. Images in instructions not very clear even with magnifying glass - image on box much easier to see how to set polarity at device.

It works

The variety of connector tips for the power supply is very handy, so you don't have to buy multiple power supplies for various devices. Voltage output is variable, and the tips are reversible so you can cover a wide range of uses which includes both "center positive" and "center negative" polarity types. I use this for a sound meter I purchased which would have cost me much more for a power plug that could only be used with that. I have a box full of old adapter plugs - but they don't match up with anything else I have, and sometimes the original devices with which they were paired have long been gone! This product solves those issues. Very satisfied.

I have an older Casio electric piano and couldn't find the adapter. I have another reverse polarity adapter but the plugs wouldn't fit the piano insert well enough to stay in without holding it or taping it on. So I went to Guitar center, asked them what adapters they use, brought it home... didn't work. Brought the piano to BestBuy, asked around, bought what they suggested... didn't work. I brought it back to Guitar Center again to return the adapter I bought and one guy gives me some lecture on how Casio uses their own "special adapters"... sometimes... Then his colleague comes around the corner and looks at the piano and he's like: "Dude, you need a reverse polarity adapter" ***awkward. Get on Amazon, found this one priced equally with the others, bought it and now I can play my piano without having to reset the adapter every 3 minutes. Too long a review? Yea, too long a process to find the right adapter too. Save yourself the hassle and buy this one. PS: the polarity goes both ways very easily. Don't get thrown off by the reverse polarity verbiage.

Bought this for my Arizer solo 2 since I lost my charger. Charges fine for half the battery but doesn’t charge it fully. The seller has contacted me stating that this adapter’s maximum output is 10000ma where the Arizer Solo 2’s charger has an output of 15000ma. So if you are buying this for your Arizer, you can get the high output charger that the seller also provides. Other than that, the charger works fine and has many different adapters for different port sizes.

good quality product. the tips connect snugly to the cable. centre negative polarity is what I was looking for and works as expected.

Very good product. Works like a charm. I use it for my DIY Arduino projects and I often change voltage and use multimeter to measure it, so I can confirm it works exactly as specified.
