Disney Pixar Cars Dinnerware Set, 3-Piece

We got these for my son for Christmas a couple years ago. He was soooo excited! Cars is one of his very favorite movies. These have held up great. My son had just turned 3 and we were trying to decide between something plastic and something that could end up getting broken. We chose these and I am glad. He has taken very good care of them and just the other day he mentioned again that he loves his dishes.They only thing that I've noticed is that they are starting to fade a little but we also put them in the dishwasher all the time and we've had them over a year.Fun dishes!

It is on the heavy side, not easy for a child to break. The drawing is a little bit rough not polished.

I didn't realize this was a ceramic set. Not exactly safe for the 2 year old I bought it for to use by himself. It is however cute and dishwasher safe. The cup is more like a coffee mug.

Children's 'dinnerware set' but made of porcelain not the more durable plastic. Mug was too large. Colors too dark.We have several sets of different characters and this is the first set made of porcelain. I cannot imagine it lasting very long, so I will return it.

Ceramics are much easier to clean and keep looking good, but a little morre fragile than plastic. Good size of bowl and plate and my son loves it.

The material is extremely delicate. I'd give it a higher rating but the picture has rubbed off.

Got this set for my little boy who's obsessed with Cars. He loves it! Doesn't want to eat on anything else! The fact that it's not cheap plastic makes him feel like a big boy eating on grown up dishes like the rest of the family and teaches him to place his dishes carefully in the sink when he's done eating. I wish the mug was a little bigger though and could hold a full 8 ounces.
