Almost perfect meaning - yes I wish the ice was a bit bigger, which is where it loses the 1 star.Otherwise this is perfect.My tips:After switching on leave the collection basket out for a couple of cycles, this allows the dispensed ice to fall back into the reservoir to chill before it is pumped into the 'ice pool' (if it's colder when it goes in - then it freezes quicker and the ice is bigger)Most importantly, USE DISTILLED WATER. I cannot stress this enough. I have seen these machines in other peoples houses covered in black mould where they've been putting tap water in it. To clean these machines properly is a nightmare. The chemicals in tap water will turn any water device to a mould infested or scaled up issue.The only water I consume is distilled, and I can tell you that my kettle is as good as new, never needs descaling, and my Euhomy Ice Machine will never need cleaning. If you use tap water, then look at these machines and kettles just after a few days/weeks use, because what you see in there is what is in your body!In summary - It does almost a perfect job.Just look after it and yourself with distilled water.

I originally bought one of these machines for use whilst away in our caravan as freezer compartment in caravan fridges are tiny and you often don’t have room for ice which is desired especially in the summer months. They are mesmerising to watch as the ice grows over the little prongs and produces cubes in about 6 minutes. Provided you keep the reservoir topped up it just keeps going.Ive always also wanted an ice machine built into the fridge but the water supply is too far away to plumb to an ice making fridge. this is a great next best alternative. We were going through bags of ice and it feels such a waste, both in terms of money but also the carbon footprint of trucking frozen water! bought this for in the kitchen and it’s brilliant in daily use but also when entertaining as ice is constantly being produced. I now leave the machine to run a few hours at a time and put the ice into the freezer in a large Tupperware container and use it during the week. When we need more we simply fill this machine with tap water and let it do its thing. It’s quick, quiet and ice is always fresh. Highly endorsed.

This is so convenient, I have a tiny freezer, I love my drinks cold, I flip this on, 10 minutes later I’ve got loads of ice. Worth every penny!

Great machine but the “ice full” indicator decided to only work when it wants. So I’m guessing it’s a faulty infrared sensor
