Logitech G Farm Sim Controller, USB, Compatible with PC, Mac, Windows, 945-000026

I really like the Farm Sim game it self and tried playing with 2 or 3 ps4 controllers and then I found this controller made just for the game. The design of the wheel and side panel is cool although I wish it came with 2 side panels. 100% programmable buttons and joysticks. The pedals are well designed for the slow going but would not recommend them for racing as they are plastic. I have tried this wheel on other games but it does not work so well. So if you love the farm games and want an easier setup then a ps4 or xbox and pc keyboard and mouse here is one that work great.PROS:- Easy to use and setup.- Has 30+ buttons that you can use.- 900 degree steering radius.CONS:- Cheaply made due to it is all plastic.- Works well with only 1 game Farm Sim 2011 / 2013 / 2015 / 2017I hope they make a software update for this controller and I will recommend this controller to others as well!

I have had this wheel for about a year using it with fs17 and 19.It has worked perfectly and been fun to use.A week or two ago I noticed one I turned the wheel past a certain point the device would lose power, but at first it only affected one in one hundred turns, but then it progressed until I couldn’t turn wheel without snorting out the whole wheel and control panel.This is a major problem however their customer service was so good, they said they’ll send me a new wheel, but I must destroy my old one, so I get to destroy something and they’ll replace it, it’s a win win.

Purchased this controller on June 18, 2017. On August 12, 2017 it became a piece of junk. The wheel started not being recognized as a USB device. I made some bios changes and got it back in the device list but there was a serious problem. The pedals plug in to the steering wheel and every time I tried to accelerate in a vehicle there was no range of acceleration. The pedals were acting like the keyboard. Press them and it was full throttle and when turning it was move the steering wheel an eighth of an inch and you were at full turn. This thing is typical Saitek equipment. JUNK!!! Spent a full day trying to make in game adjustments with the controls to no change. The control panel is still working fine so I guess the steering wheel and pedals will go out in the garbage can. I will never buy another Saitek product and I have owned numerous flight systems of theirs that have ended the same way. I will probably buy a Logitech wheel to go with the controller. Don't spend your hard earned money on this POS.

I should rephrase...my grandson loves it. He's 9 yrs old and we got him the Farm Sim 15 a few years ago and he was playing this game using the keyboard inputs to make things work. He's now got Farm Sim 17. We gave him an old laptop we were no longer using and the key identifications are nearly wore off from his playing it. As I watched him manipulate the keys, I thought if I had to do this to play I quit in a short time. He lives on a large working farm out here in MT and he's really interested in farming and equipment. So when I stumbled across this piece of technology, I showed it to Grandma and she said let's get it for him. I knew she would. She's got a pretty soft spot for this guy. We purchase it for his 9th B-day and got it hooked up. He's plowing, harvesting and cutting full-time. His dad is jealous. He is having a blast and he's learning how to make this thing work by trial and error. It would b nice if there was a tutorial on the use of all the buttons. I've looked on line and haven't had much success finding any help. A lot of it is easy to do, but I'm sure there are things that don't manifest themselves so easily. We would purchase again and highly recommend it. This game along with this product is actually teaching him a lot about farming...not just the driving either.

This pack works pretty seamlessly with Farming Simulator, but some of the button mappings are weird. I ended up remapping all of the buttons to put them in more logical categories.The other problem I had was there aren't quite enough controls when you consider the cranes. The cranes need 5 or 6 axes, and if you use the default control bindings, the joystick is used for camera controls, leaving only 3 axes for the crane.Also, the scroll wheel? Forget about it. It's awful and basically doesn't work. So I used the up/down D-Pad buttons on the steering wheel for the cruise control speed setting.

***Update 2*** I've reported the issue to logitech. They are going to be sending a replacement. Their process is REALLY weird. Instead of sending it back, you have to break it and send pictures. They said to cut all the cables off, and open it and destroy the chips inside. Had to send pictures of each piece, along with a hand written note with my case number. Really strange. Especially since its just a short in a wire. They could just replace the wire and resell it or send it back to me. It's odd that this is their process. I've done it, and sent the pictures, so now I wait for the replacement. Hopefully it'll be here before the launch of FS19. Two more weeks!***Update*** The steering wheel is now broken. It's a real shame. I really liked it. It's shorting out the USB any time I turn left all the way. Guess I'll try my luck with their support. I really wish they'd make a newer better higher quality version.I'm writing this after a few weeks of use. It is far from perfect, but also the best way to play Farming Simulator. I'd gladly pay much more for a higher quality product with more buttons, but such an item doesn't currently exist. Everything about it seems and feels cheap (despite the cost.) Single button presses are sometimes interpreted as a double tap, resulting in cancelling out what you're trying to do. The stock key mappings are pretty bad, so it adds time to set up. There's not enough buttons, so you have to pick and choose what features deserve a button, especially if you want buttons for the mods, like GPS. All that said, it is definitely the best way to play. If it broke today, I'd likely buy another. It has made everything easier, especially the forklift and telehandler. I really wish Logitech would make a new version with better quality and more buttons! Even if it was $400, I'd buy it TODAY!

O deck de botões é espetacular. Volante simples porém bem acabado e com riqueza de botões configuraveis. Para quem joga com câmbio automático vai curtir. Atenção não tem pedal de troca de marcha e sem force feedback. Já tive G920 por isso se quiser um volante mais esportivo não compre esse, mas para simulador é muito bom mesmo. Meu ponto negativo é que existe um pouco de folga.

We bought this for our son for Xmas, and although it took a very long time to receive it, he loves it! He says it's very realistic, and truly improved his "driving a tractor or transport" experience!

After 3 months the Wheel and the pedal stopped working on windows. Side panel is great tho, better to buy the side panel alone and use another wheel set. Very cheep plastic and is very fragile and easy to broke. Very bad for 200$ + product
