What Smartshade?
The idea of the product is that you don't have to buy your EXACT color because it blends in to your skin and becomes natural. That is definitely not the case. I tried all the colors that would even be remotely close to me and they all turned up extremely light on me and I am a tan filipino so that did NOT work out. Loreal true match works WAY better.

decent product
This product does a decent job of concealing. Its pale color is quite odd coming from the tube, but it does seem to darken on the skin. This line of products would work best on people with fairly light to medium skin, I would think. My skin looks paler with the foundation and powder than with other products I've used.
