Suspenz Deluxe Free-Standing Rack

This is the no-brainer buy for paddlers who want to keep their boats out of the weather but have limited garage or shed space to store the boat(s). Our garage has too low a ceiling to store these two 60 lb, 12 foot Elie kayaks above, and stacking them flat will simply use up all the space in front of my work bench. Ta-DA! I found these Suspenz racks on Amazon and couldn't be more pleased. I've got the boats stored, safe, and out of the way. Assembly was so easy and fast, a task anyone could do in 20-30 minutes time. Boat removal and storing is extremely fast and simple. Suspenz has a number of videos on the web, check them out!

I am extremely happy with my choice to purchase the Suspenz Kayak Storage Rack. We live on a lake and wanted to keep our two kayaks on, or near our dock. This was the perfect solution.If I had one complaint, it was simply that the box came pretty beat up, which may have been more of a carrier issue than Suspenz. Small parts had gotten loose but fortunately, nothing was missing and there was no damage to the rack.The directions were good and I was able to assemble the unit quickly. I've seen other racks that were less expensive but this uses much better and heftier materials. And not only is it functionally perfect, it is aesthetically pleasing. I would highly recommend this kayak rack to anyone that needs to safely and securely store their kayaks.

I've been looking at the Suspenz 2-boat kayak storage rack for a couple of years but was put off by the price. I finally got tired of leaning one of our kayaks against the wall next to the car and hoping it wouldn't fall over into my baby. Our second kayak was stored on top of a small sailboat on a trailer, and it was a real pain to get it on an off this storage site. The Suspenz unit has a clean, effective mechanism to mount and dismount your kayaks single-handedly, and the strapping system is secure beyond expectations. This setup has the added advantage of being expandable to handle a total of six kayaks with the addition of back leg supports, racks and extension poles should your fleet expand or you're running a camp. You get what you pay for, and the Suspenz rack systems are worth the cost. They also sell marine grade units for coastal installations.

Looking for a rack to arrive late, damaged and missing parts? Then this one is for you!! My favorite part of assembly is when you realize that the company that took the time to use not 1, but 2 awful "crack a beer here" jokes in their horribly written instructions also failed to include all of the hardware. Rack is sturdy but very overpriced particularly given the issues with shipping, and the fact that it is missing parts.

I really, really, really didn't want to spend a lot of money on kayak racks, but every rack I looked at cost several hundred dollars, so I went for these Suspenz racks. Like others have said, these racks are very well made and quite frankly, worth the money I paid. All the metal appears to be powder coated (or heavily painted) and very sturdy. I love how the cradle strap flips-up on the end when the boat is on the rack to keep the boat from slipping off, but allows for easily pulling the boat off w/o having to lift the boat up.

We have nice fishing kayaks and bought this for winter storage off the ground. Pleased with assembly and safely holding the kayaks.

All components arrived unmarred and unbroken. The rack essentially assembles itself. I did make the mistake of putting the T-bar onto the base backwards. I aligned the square hole on the T-bar with the square hole on the base, when I should have strictly adhered to the instructions. I just thought that the carriage bolt required the two holes be square. But I disassembled it and reassembled it according to the instructions and everything is fine. The arms and straps hold the kayaks securely, and loading/unloading is so much easier now.

Well built and big enough to hold my Ocean Kayaks

Great storage unit. I am using this as a free standing storage rack in my garage, so it is not anchored to the floor. There is some movement when I take the kayaks off and on the rack but nothing major. The gap between the racks needs to be adjusted to fit the width of the bottom kayak and I have not completed this adjustment. I would like to get the extension for the 3rd Kayak at a future date. This unit has provide compact storage and more space in my garage. Very sturdy construction.

This is an excellent product and holds my 16'3" and my 18'2" kayaks perfectly. The only complaint I have is that when I assembled them, one of the straps was twisted and I had to re-thread it.

Delivery was quick after ordering, the stand was strong and of good quality for our 2 quickly afterfor our 2 KAYAKs
