I mounted the antenna 10 feet above the highest point on my roof by using a 10 foot pole mounted to my chimney. I did a channel scan after it was installed and was able to get 65 FREE channels. I was able to get all of the local major networks. Also make sure that when you are searching for channels after it is installed, that you experiment with different directions as well as different plains (vertical vs. horizontal). I had to go up on the roof several times to make adjustments, talking on a cell phones to somebody down below on a cell phone watching the TV, for an optimum picture for specific channels that I wanted to receive. After each position, you will need to re-scan your TV to find out if you have more or less channels. There are websites to find out where and what direction the antenna should for stations. Amazon will not let me list this website. This allowed me to get an approximate direction that the antenna should be to receive that station. Note: I was able to get best results with the antenna sitting vertical, not horizontal.

The 40ft Detachable Coaxial Cable was not included.

I got 44 channels when I first set it up. Sometimes I get 10 and somtimes I get 22. I live in a basin on top of a mountain 47 miles from NYC. I am sure I would get more channels if the antenna was roof top. I am in a downstairs apartment. The antenna is on a shelf by my glass slider doors. My friend in Middlefield, OH gets better reception from Cleveland.

It was brand new and didn't want to work that great the fourth year and eventually died out. But brand new it picked up every single channel.And you had tons of television 📺.

Works better than the 2 cheaper antennas I bought. Almost no pixilation on the 2 channels I was having problems with. I'd say worth the extra money.

Works great where regular antennas don’t.

Really was hoping this would work. I use a traditional huge Channel Master antenna with a rotor and receive 21 channels from towers about 40 miles away. The best I could do with this is 5 channels. To be honest we are in a low lying are with mature trees.The customer service was exceptional and I received a refund in a reasonable time.

I like the fact that it has a clearer picture and a longer cable cord than other antennas I have used, but have found that this isn't actually any better than the ones you can buy at a much lower cost, as far as reception of available channels.
