Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: Legacy Vol. 1

This story introduces a really interesting new era. There are now three different factions of Force users: Jedi, Sith, and Imperial Knights. The Imperial Knights are a really cool concept and I love their design with red armor and white lightsabers. Darth Krayt is a very interesting villain and I really enjoyed learning about his backstory. I also liked seeing how Cade struggled to escape his Skywalker Legacy. There were a few slightly dull issues in the middle that focused on developing side characters and had weaker artwork. I was also a little unimpressed with how the three female characters that appeared the most all had super revealing outfits. Overall this is a really enjoyable read and I'm hoping the following two volumes are just as great.

This first collection of two completing the Legacy story line of Star Wars set 100 years after A New Hope is the Star Wars you need in your life. Brilliantly told. Lavishly drawn and coloured. Awesome characters, we see a Skywalker unlike we ever see one and it is great to watch his story unfold. We get a new amazing Sith character and one of his apprentices showing, once again, that Star Wars already HAD amazing females characters, the new big wigs who took over just chose to not notice it. Darth Talon was such a good character Lucas wanted her to be a Jedi hunter for episode VII... and look at what we got there...If you want Star Wars that FEELS like Star Wars again, grab these Epic Collections Marvel are releasing of Dark Horse''s amazing run they had for a very long time. You wont be disappointed. I have been binge buying (12 collected thus far) them since I discovered them on AmazonAU in December-Jan.

A Star Wars "What If" story set one hundred years into the future after the TOS. It's a fun read and reinvigorated the franchise with some interesting new characters. One need not read the fictional books to enjoy this volume.

The first comic I have read on Krayt. I had heard various references to him in the EU, the story and character development so rich.Not a character I didn't like from Cade and his crew, to the various bounty hunters, to Darth Krayts new order. Can't wait to rip into the next issues.

Excellent extension to the lore. Wish they'd've made movies of these. I had to add 9 extra words 2 submit.
