This is the pen you want to carry all day
The OHTO Dude is a beautifully crafted pen made in Japan. I love the line on the pen and the weight is nice and heavy without being to over the top. The balance is a striking mix of weight and design. The ink flows very smoothly on most all paper, but sometimes hard on slippery credit card receipts. Ohto is a fine maker
Ceramic is nice. Watery ink for pretty appearance. Nib is pointy and sharp. Could double as a tactical pen.

Don't buy
Lived this pen. It is a nice weight and writes beautifully. Unfortunately it came apart about two weeks after getting it. I pulled the cap off and the whole top part came apart so that the ink cartridge falls out. I have tried numerous ways to repair it and I cany. Very discouraging.

Heavy but feels good in the hand
Heavy but feels good in the hand. Comes with black ink. Pocket clip is not flimsy.I will use it to sign documents. The paper I use as my journal will allow the ink to bleed through.I am an OHTO fan-I also like their needle point ballpoints and the ceramic rollerball with blue ink.I would buy this item again. If you carry a pen in pants pocket the retractable type pens do not work because it always gets extended. With a cap you can carry the pen in pants pockets and not worry about the cartridge getting extended.

Stylish blue color
Stylish blue color but the color applied is very thin and prone to scratches. The cap securely fits the tapered end well. Might consider swapping out the ceramic to a Pilot G2 in the future.

Nice and Heavy Feel
Best Flowing ink there is and the Blue is a lighter Blue which I really prefer.

Great pen, except for one thing.........
The pen is very nice. Good weight, feels good in the hand, attractive to look at. But there is one big problem for me. Multiple sources said the Pilot G2 refill would fit this pen. Wrong! The G2 tip is too large to fit this pen. I don't really like the refill it comes with, so I guess I'm out of luck. Good pen, but if you wanted to use it with a great, smooth G2 refill, you're out of luck too.
