Unfinished Solid Wood Photo Picture Frames Ready To Paint for DIY Projects 4 by 6 Inches Set of 3

I really like the quality of these frames. I did have to do a little sanding on the strong corner interior edges, but over all, there was not a lot of excess glue on the corners, the edges lined up well for each other, and the easel seems like a good quality. I do wish the fasteners that h9ld the ba k on were turnbuckle style instead of the flat metal nails, those pop out too easy. I would be ecstatic if there would be a bigger variety of sizes as well. My favorite part is how thick the frames are. It gives me a lot of room to be creative, and I've gotten a ton of compliments on the ones I have customized so far. Please make more sizes!!! And bigger packages.

These take acrylic paint very nicely, but the metal tabs that hold the picture in on the back all fell out, and one of the stands on the back fell off. I had to duct tape the back to make it functional. The wood was not sanded down, so be careful to avoid getting splinters while handling the frames.

I like to use these frames for pyrography projects. Mostly good quality but 1-2 out of three have one corner that is not quite flush.

The flap on the back snaps off super easy. I also broke the glass trying to put it back in.

I love these frames so much! They would be Perfect except for the fact that the little black push points are loose and they’re not holding the backer in place tightly enough.

Not super high quality wood but definitely worked for the project I had in mind. Took a few extra steps and sanded the wood lightly prior to finishing. Made for a nicer finish.

These were just delivered and I'm delighted to find them even better than I imagined. Lightweight and complete with glass and a nice backing and fold out thingy to prop it up. They will require a light sanding before beginning to paint or decopage or whatever one wants to do, but the possibilities are endless. What a great finished project to give as a gift and a wonderful project to do with kids and grown ups alike. Can't wait to frame my favorite photos or collage or mixed media with these -- now, time to get creative!!!

The reviews on this item worries me but I was desperate for prime 2 day shipping (I’m generally car-less) before father’s day and ordered these for crafting. My kids were able to paint them with no trouble at all and definitely no need to sand down first. And, even more importantly, no splinters! The paint absorbed nicely and looks great. And my husband (and my father) loved the daddy/grandpa gifts. We also added some glitter and jewel stickers to make it even more fun for them.
