Good quality and good price if I could only get my grandson to wear it. My 11 year old granddaughter suffered a concussion so her dad suggested this for my other grandchildren who play soccer. He paid more for the same one at the soccer shop.

This “padded” headed feels more like it’s stuffed with cardboard. It’s very stiff and uncomfortable. My daughter didn’t like it so I tried to return it. The return policy says it’s eligible for a full refund within 30 days. The seller charged me the full price for “restocking fees”, the return label was charged as 7 pound package (this is maybe a 1/2 lb), and only refunded the tax. I’ve tried to communicate with the seller with no response. I’d stay away and don’t waste your money!

Cute and hopefully better than nothing

Bought it for my high school grandson for soccer. He recently had a concussion from heading the ball and had to sit out per Doctors orders for 2 weeks. It's light weight , padded for protection and actually looks cool when wearing it. It is perfect for what I bought it for. The only negative is, he won't wear it during games because no one else does! Geez. At least I tried.

Bought these padded concussion bands for my favorite epileptic. Even her doctor thought they were great. They look sporty, so she's willing to wear them....especially in high school. And her head is protected in case of a seizure. Will definitely order more since there is a nice selection of colors!

We purchased this to protect my wife's head as she plays a form of senior volley ball. It uses a large soft beach ball. My wife has TBI and we wanted something to cushion the occasional ball to head impacts. The padding material seems rather firm and I guess that is required to "cushion" to certain loads. We used it twice and gave up. The overlap seam is on the inside surface of the band and as it is held tightly against the head due to the "elastic" it leaves a deep line around her head. Yes it goes away after a while but it is to the point of being painful. I wore it as a test and I couldn't leave it on for over several minutes. Good idea but didn't work for us.
