This is the 2nd time I've wrapped handlebars with leather. It can be difficult to do because the leather doesn't stretch much. So getting it to lay nice around a curve takes patience to get it right. You have to work slowly and put lots of tension on the strip as you wrap. But the results are worth it. I used it on my vintage Raleigh that also has a leather Brooks saddle. The bike loos great and feels good to ride. I didn't care for the look of the finishing tape so I did a traditional twine wrap to finish the job off.

I have experienced whatever this reviewer have said. I have just returned the product for refund."The tape has flaws in it where the manufacturer splices strips of leather together to make a long enough product for handlebars. These splices split when the handlebar tape is put on. I guess I should have expected this - no cow has enough leather to provide a 42" length of flawless handlebar tape! See photo.The tape is difficult to apply which you should expect from a natural product. Once applied it looks sleek. However, it doesn't lie well over brake cables which route along the bars. Also, as it has no stretch, it doesn't have enough length to give good coverage to bars which have cables routed along them. I didn't ride with it because I returned it because of the splicing splits."

Der Versand ist super schnell!Was ich nur nicht verstehe, wieso wird die Wahre vor dem Versand nicht kontrolliert??? Ich habe Braun bestellt und möchte auch zwei braune Bänder haben... nicht Braun und Rot!!! Außerdem war die Packung auf und scheinbar hat es jemand eingetauscht! Ich finde es einfach nur ne Frechheit sowas immer wieder anzubieten! Ist mir mit anderer Bestellung auch schon passiert...
