If you've used bluetooth connections from your cell before then you have all you need to know about setting this device up and getting started. Just connect the speaker wires, pair the unit with your phone, turn up the volume on both and enjoy all your favorite music. Once attached, the speaker wire is heavier than the unit itself. So there is a bit of clumsiness in figuring out where to mount or place the unit. We used cable ties. My son and I were amazed at the small size and the volume and clarity that was coming out of the speakers. This product NS-20G 200W is worth the price! I plan on buying one for myself next! It works smoothly and produces good, clean sound. It's audio quality is similar to much more expensive amplifiers. In using it, I suspect it may not put out the full rated power, but will look for an opportunity to hook it up to some test equipment and check it. From a practical standpoint, the power output is just fine.

(Updated) If you know what you're getting and how to use it correctly, this amp gives really good clean sound at volume that is louder than most anyone needs in near field listening. No better bang for the buck if you use it right. I use mine with two Micca RB42s most often, which are not efficient by any standard. Peoples jaws drop when I demo them. In my familyroom (17X25 ft) it is loud enough to be plenty loud with the RB42s. I have two now and they work perfectly. They push any of my bookshelf speakers with ease from 12 volt battery and 19 volt ac adapter. I'm guessing the issues posted are due to bad sound sources or improper usage. There are always bad units once in a while also.Upgraded to 24 volt adapter and this thing rocks. Noticeably louder and better sound!

**Update*I have been using it to power two Polk tl2 satellites with 16 gauge wire, and a Pioner sw8k2 subwoofer connected to headphone output. The system is running quite hot in this 2.1 configuration. Other than the temperature the Sonics are pretty good. One caveat 1 of the 2 units I purchased runs quite hot.

I’m impressed, sound quality is great and volume is more than I need. I use it outside on my front porch nearly every nice day. I’ve used these for 2+ years. I use it in the mid winter for holiday parties to greet guests with music also. Always connects easily (Bluetooth).
