Something fishy alright 🤢
The portions were small, a lack of crispy goodness I was expecting. What I received was two larger pieces that were not crispy enough more on the chewy side. There was a few small pieces that weren’t any better. Let me be clear the larger pieces were still small. I would say they should be priced at a dollar definitely not what they are charging. With Biden rates under two dollars. There is a reason why they don’t accept returns they would need to refund to many orders. My dog’s will enjoy them anyhow. Try to get a bag first so you don’t have to give the rest of case to your pets.🇺🇸🐺

Quite filling for a small portion size
When I first opened the pack I was disappointed at the portion size, but it turned out to actually be quite filling. This was all I had for lunch and it actually satisfied my hunger for a few decent hours until dinner. This was actually quite surprising. Husband looked it over and said "it has really good macros", whatever that means. I was here for the fish skins.Taste wise this may not be for everyone, but if you like eating crispy skins of your fried fish or chicken (like apparently a weirdo that I am, according to my family), you will likely like this. However I would start with a variety pack or one of less fancy flavors to really find out.Flavors I tried so far:Salt & Vinegar: my favorite one so far, it was salty and sour just like I like my fried fish skins to be.Spicy BBQ: very mildly spicy, but very delicious.Sea Salt: this one is probably best one to try to taste the salmon skins' pure flavor. I liked it, but ended up adding citric acid for more lemon flavor.Sriracha Lemongrass: this one was way too spicy for my wuss taste buds to handle, but what flavor I did take prior to my taste buds surrendering to a burn, was good. Husband eat the rest.Miso Teriyaki (separate): This one was a mistake, but after I finished my variety pack I was craving more of this amazing GOODFISH and this flavor was the only available. Because I loved the other ones so much, I though I would surely love this one too. I was wrong. I was heartbroken. I even cried a little. It was slightly sweet and reminded me of vomit. I gifted it all to husband, who thought it was tasted fine.

Another one of these over-priced craft foods
I noticed there are a lot of products coming out these days that are high-priced and meant to give a semi-healthy alternative to comfort food. Salmon skin is one such thing I guess, to replace chips from a starchy raw material like potatoes. So you get this really expensive pack of food, loaded with fat (the good kind), but just a few inside the bag. The taste is... well, its ok. As far as heat goes, these are pretty much mild. You get a hint there might be heat, but these don't make you race for water. They sort of overcome the salmon fishiness, but you have to like that taste to eat these.I'd rather just stick with real food.

Pork Rinds 2.0, Paleo Friendly, and Elon Musk Expensive
I wouldn't call myself a gourmand but I have a decent palate. To support my statement, friends call me the salmon nigiri assassin but I can enjoy a good cheeseburger too. That being said, I am not sure why people are giving these salmon skins such a hard time for their taste; but I felt it was important to set the record straight and let both sides know where they're effing up...THE GOOD – Taste 5/5 STARS - Basically, Pork Rinds 2.0Couple of gripes I have always had with pork rinds. One, they are too thick and uncomfortable to eat. Two, I feel dirty after eating them; in general who knows what the heck goes in to making them – not that I care, so long as the calories aren't counting, they taste good, and my appetite is satisfied. Good Fish provide the same casual feel as pork rinds while having 10g of protein & zero carbs, and a clean aftertaste - not to mention, they're paleo friendly and have less than 5 ingredients. I want to drive the point home that these, Good Fish salmon skins are REALLY, REALLY TASTY and anyone with a normal palate who takes the stick out of their butt will enjoy them (Caution - shrimp chip smell and a fishy taste).THE BAD – Price 1/5 STARS - These guys are deterring their primary customer-base with outrageous prices.Get ready to cringe – When you open the Good Fish bag, you are greeted by VERY few Good Fish. It looks like 4/6ths of the contents are mysteriously missing and Good Fish found a clever way to reseal the packaging. Not to be a snob but I'm paying more than $3 a bag and it feels like you're trying to remind me that I am getting ripped off. In other words, Good Fish, if you want to be cheap, stop trying to pretend like you're Mother Teresa - own up to it and put your chips in an appropriately sized, sealed, sandwich bag. Chef Masa Takayama's restaurant requires a 6 month reservation and costs $1,000 for his omakase - when he hands guests a small serving of roasted uni topped with shavings of black truffle, he doesn't have to compensate by packing the dish with cheap, CVS brand sushi, globs of oshiko (yellow Japanese pickled radish), and the synthetic, cut-out grass. So your overhead is high? Cut back on the your unnecessary expenses - your ads look like they're marketing Apple products. I'm supporting you now and continue to buy more because you have a good product and it suits my specific needs while cutting on paleo, but as soon as a competitor comes around, even if they're more expensive, you can bet your a** that I'll be giving them a try just out of spite.Prognosis:My favorite flavor is BBQ but others have knocked it; the Sriracha Lemongrass isn't bad either. I haven't tried the Cranberry flavor yet and I would discontinue the Sea Salt and Chili Lime.I think the price is so high the only people who can afford the product are either the snobby, self-agrandising, annoying chicks at restaurants that you always catch taking pictures of their stupid food, or people like myself who would not typically write a review for a product like this. That's unfortunate for Good Fish because it means the only people writing your customer reviews are people that hate your product, and worse - people without good palates. Let's be honest, people that buy pork rinds typically don't even speak English. In any case, if you're a fan of pork rinds, can't find a place to spend your stimulus check, and want the best pork rinds money could be, improved in both taste and texture, go ahead and give these a try. Hallelujah! (That's Hebrew for Hallelujah)!!!

Terrible. Avoid.
Well I stupidly ignored the warnings and bought these anyway. So 100% my fault for buying something that’s nearly vomit inducing. Honestly these are TERRIBLE. I’ve eaten sea turtle, while fried lion fish, and sushi/sashimi to include squid, surf clam, octopus, eel, sea urchin…you get the idea I like the taste of seafood. These don’t taste like seafood, they taste like sadness. The official snack of 2021. Only way I’d eat these is if I got covid again and lost my senses of taste and smell

Not That Good
Saw an add for these on FB and thought it would be a great snack. I was expecting something like a chip or pork rinds. Boy was I WRONG. They are like stale pork rinds. The BBQ flavor wasn't bad but the Sriracha lemongrass was HORRIBLE! I was like licking a bottle of lemongrass essential oils. The salt and vinegar ones had next to no flavor except salmon. I won't be purchasing these again.

High Quality, Tasty, Healthy - Awesome!
Absolutely loved the product! I almost didn't order these because I didn't like the thought of eating fish skin (some of that is that I don't tend to eat animal skins, and some was thinking that the scales would be unpleasant), but I'm glad that I got over that. Turns out, salmon skin is good for you, and eating this wasn't uncomfortable at all due to scales. The chips are crunchy, kind of like a potato chip.Absolutely worth a try! Amazing, IMO, and certainly way better than I expected. I like that they are super high in protein, and I like the idea (which hopefully remains true) that these are sustainable and that this helps maintain the salmon's environment and their future population. A MUST!
