This product removes my foot corn after 10 days of using. I was applying one drop to the corn under my foot once a day, wait for it to dry in 10 minutes, then cover it up with a bandage. After about 10 days, I notice the whole callus around my foot corn suddenly just peel off my itself. I use my fingers to pull the rest of it off my foot and found a tiny hole in the middle of the callus which I believe is the spot where the foot corn was residing. Now I stop applying the product and just cover it up with a bandage to wait for it to heal completely. Fascinating!

The key to using Dr. Scholl's is PATIENCE while following the directions. You have to give it time to work and not try to pull or scrape off the callus prematurely. It needs to work all the way through the callus. If you don't wait, you risk tearing the underlying tissue and that will give you a problem because Dr. Scholl's is an acid (a completely safe one) and not intended for contact with raw flesh, as well as risking infection.If you apply this after a shower, make certain that the callus is dry as possible. I found that applying in the morning before putting on socks for the day and at night before going to bed produced the best results. However, you have to let the Dr. Scholl's dry in place. Otherwise, you will just wipe it off and waste it.I first used this many years ago when I developed a very thick and painful callus on the ball of my foot. I applied it for about ten days to two weeks. Unbelievable to me, the entire callus pulled off in one piece. The skin beneath was intact, soft, and smooth. I could again walk in comfort.My more recent needs for this have come with ingrown toenails. As they grow, callus forms under the edge of nails. When walking or if something presses on the top of the nail, it is painful; sometimes more than annoyingly painful. Once again, applied for two weeks, and I was able to pull the callus out from under the nail, relieving the pain.I literally stand by this product. If you have callus problems, this is the solution.
