Philips Avent Natural Response Nipples, Extra Slow Flow (Flow 1), 4-Pack, SCY961/04

The new version does not allow milk to flow as previously. Even with moving to a #2 nipple (compared to #1 of the old version), our baby sat there frustrated for half an hour, not able to get milk out. Editing a year+ later to say that we ended up LOVING this version. Once baby got the hang of it, the nipple did an excellent job helping baby self-pace (as naturally would happen). He just needed to get use to the effort involved and we needed to move up a level.

Honestly this brand is my go to for bottles, I know different babies like different things. But mine has done the best with these, I also love how the flows are for different ranges. They are easier to clean with the brush and I’ve noticed that the quality is great. My only complaint is that the formula sometimes gets stuck at the top of I don’t pre shake it a little

I'm a first time mom and received a variety of different baby bottles from my shower and definitely think these are the best for newborns / younger babies! No air bubbles, leaking from the side of my baby's mouth, durable, easy to clean, etc. it's truly the best slow flow bottle top I have -and I have about 5 diff brands!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Exactly what we needed. Our box of bottles only came with one #2 nipple. Our baby eats fairly frequently, so having these extra #2 nipples saves so much time on washing. Great quality you'd expect from Philips Avent. No leaks, no collapsing, and has held up to a very hungry baby.

Breastfeeding is important for me to maintain, so we bought these nipples to make sure that the flow rate wouldn't mess up my breastfeeding journey. They are easy to use and clean, and I recommend this brand to any mom who is looking for bottle options

my brother loves these so much and they don’t spill. they can be left upside down and won’t drop any milk but it also isn’t hard for him to get milk out!

Great if they work for your baby but the shape is not ideal for combo feeding at all. It almost ended my breastfeeding journey because it caused nipple confusion being so narrow and not as elastic as other brands. I loved that they didn't leak when tipped over. And they were sturdy plastic that didn't tear or need replacing often. They did get cloudy and need to be boiled to get residue off once in a while. I wish they would rethink the shape and keep everything else the same!

This bottle nipple has made our feeding routine a breeze. The wide nipple forms perfectly to my infants mouth creating a much smoother feed. It has helped with the fussiness and gas problems that other nipple shapes were causing. Will continue to use this type of bottle nipple with all feedings.
