Adorable signs worked great for a work cook off contest. Lots of compliments. However, they yoppled over easily and did not clean as well as I hoped. I used a chalk pen that supposedly cleans with water but left ghost image behind. Don't know if its the fault of the chalkboard or the pen. (Review by Megan Massa, Walter's beautiful wife)

The cost was good. However be very aware that they are somewhat flimsy. The biggest problem for me was that the chalk that comes with it doesn’t work well on the writing surface. Also it is almost impossible to erase what you’ve written. They would be fine for one time use if you also purchase a chalk pen or pencil.

These worked... the chalk didn’t work, so I ended up using a permanent metallic marker. The stands also splintered a bit, upon opening them and getting them put together.

I bought separate sticky badge magnets and attached them to the back of each board (did not use the included stands) and placed them on the outside of my storage bins to easily identify the handbags inside my closet. Boards come with a regular chalk, but a liquid fine point chalk pen provides better results.

The chalk doesn't work at all. So I went to Michael's and got some chalkboard markers. Works well and comes clean very easy with a wet paper towel. The product is great. I totally reccomend, just buy a chalk marker.
