W7 Genius Feather Light Foundation, Natural Beige, 1.05 Ounce

Ever since discovering their eyeshadow palettes, I've been a fan of W7. So when I noticed I was running low on my usual BB foundation, I went looking thru W7's foundation offerings and came across this one. Of course, ordering new foundation online is risky. You can't really tell if it's the right color for you, it's harder to return, and if you do return it you're back to needing foundation like you did in the first place. Much easier to just drive over to Target, Ulta, or the mall. But I decided to give it a shot and ordered this in Natural Beige. I'm glad I did. The color is just right for me and I really like how light and moisturizing this is. I've been going thru a dry skin phase lately (very annoying) and this made the dry patches not so dry. I'll continue using it and if my thoughts on it change, I'll do an update on this review. Update (a few months later): It's official, this is my foundation of choice for the rest of my life. I get more compliments on my skin now than I ever did before. Even with as light and airy as this stuff is, I now wear just one layer of this without any setting powder or other form of foundation and my skin tone is even and moisturized throughout the day.

This has become my holy grail foundation. I am half Asian so I do have a very yellow undertone and looking for a right match has always been difficult. Surprisingly natural beige is my perfect color. I do find that it can oxidize a little but it doesn't affect the look much. This is such a unique formula. I've never used such a liquidy/ oily foundation but I love it so much. A little goes a long way for me. I use 3-5 drops of this stuff and it covers my face pretty well. It is medium coverage but you can make it more intense as well as lighter in coverage by blending it out. Upon first application it does feel oily but once you rub it into your face and let it dry it dries complexly matte. I have acne prone combination skin, and this foundation does a really good job of keeping my T zone matte which I was honestly very surprised at. I think most people I saw recommended using a brush and I do agree. Using this with a beauty blender will just cause the product to be soaked up and not spread properly. I would recommend a pretty dense brush to spread it then stipple it. The way I actually use this sometimes though is I smear the foundation with my finger where I want it on my face and then lightly using a beauty blender blend it in. This has worked so well for me. For some reason spreading this with my finger gives better coverage and a more airbrushed finish and I love it. Some cons would be the color selection which is quite limited but it is a small brand so there’s that. Also you need to find the right brush to use the product with, although the finger and beauty blender method works really well for me. Other than that I can't think of any cons. I personally love the bottle and dropper. It looks really nice and much more expensive that it actually is. I don't have an issue with the smell; I don’t think it smells too strongly of anything. The coverage and the finish are beautiful and the price is just amazing. I would totally recommend this and I will repurchase if I ever do run out, which seems unlikely for me since I seriously only need the tiniest amount.

Natural Tan color was far darker than it appeared in the picture, but I can use it to contour. Nice, light finish, that feels great on the skin. I plan to try again, in a lighter color.

I dont like alot of makeup. I dont like the feel of makeup. This feels so light like bareminerals powders I have used .I'm aging with dryness, acne red spots this covers most either way amazing ! I have been using this for 2 years never clogs pore so light looks totaly natural covers amazing for light med coverage never looks cakey or feel like anything .I use rose water for primer and setting spray .truely flawless with this product .I cant say enough and I've tried alot of high end crap that never works or not worth the price. The color trickery. I buy 3natural beige ( I'm light but olivey) and mix with one buff .Please never stop producing this product.

I like this product as it is unscented and cruelty free. It does a nice job as a lightweight foundation.

I love love love this product. It goes on best with a foundation brush. One that’s made for foundation. It goes on the skin smooth, and dries to a nice matte finish. I compare this product to the Younique brand foundation only, it’s better. Trust me, it’s better! No breakouts. Doesn’t stick to dry patches. Definitely blendable coverage. I’m not sure what else to say other than I have bought a ton of different foundations many brands from drugstore, to high end and this is definitely the bomb!

Very good product just maybe don't pack it so lightly and ship with large items that can crush it next time . I was completely out now I have to go to the trouble of a phone call for replacement .

I love this foundation It goes on very light not all thick and cakey. It Is very runny & messy so beware of that. But I have noticed when I order they are not all the same. One bottle will be good the right texture the right shade and the next won't. Their thickness varies, tone varies. So not sure If that's the sellers or manufacturers or woff-putting quality Is effected and It Is definitely offputting.
