MakerShot Magazine Speed Loaders for Ruger Pistol Magazines

As my hands get older, loading magazines gets harder. Fortunately, my UpLula loaders capably handle most of my magazines. It is possible to load an LCP Max magazine with the UpLula - but it's not that easy to do. I really don't care for the loaders provided by companies like Glock and Ruger; I find them to be awkward to use. So, I needed something to load LCP Max magazines that I could use with my hands (arthritis). I figured that I would take a chance on this loader because when I looked, they had great reviews. Now they have another great review. This loader works on the same basic principle as the Glock and Ruger loaders, but it is way easier to use - just follow the directions. I just loaded 4 magazines in the time that it would have taken me to load one in the past. I cannot speak to using it with anything but LCP Max magazines but it works great for them. After I bought it, I noticed that Ruger is selling them on their website. I would buy this again and may look at other loaders that they have.

Essential to load the Ruger 57 if you like your thumbs. Too expensive for a small piece of plastic, but what the heck. Yes, as others have noted, even after using this you still have to manually push the cartridge in the rest of the way. That is not unusual in these double stack mags. I use a small butter knife to push it in the rest of the way. Very simple. For me, not using the loader would vastly discourage me from regularly using the gun. What would be the point of that? I haven’t tried the other ones that let you load more rounds at a time but they look too complicated. Bottom line: this loader isn’t perfect but very helpful.

This is a great, easy to use speed loader for my Ruger 5.7 20 round magazines and for the 30 round Magpul 5.7 magazine. Not super fast, but it's easy to use and saves my thumbs. It helps if you use your fingers on your other hand to help push down on the bullet as you're seating it into the magazine. I keeps the bullet seated back in the magazine. I highly recommend this loader, especially for putting the final rounds in a magazine because those are always the hardest.... but I use it for loading the entire thing.

Simple design. Works well I bought two. One for my .380 and one for my 9mm. Saves your thumbs.

Product is as described, and works (with effort). I ordered the Markershot specific to my handgun. 3 stars: unrefined 3D printer leftovers inside the part that needed cleaned out the fact that the product takes more effort to use compared to the Uplula (this product tends to rotate rounds vs push them down) I believe the product is made with PLA (maybe ABS), and may not have durability or degrade if it gets environments on it This product does work in a pinch, but I will not be using it as my primary speed loader.

Wonderful product! Can load a mag in under a minute. The one that Ruger gives you is not good, this makes a world of difference by giving you a more sturdy hold. Would recommend great for the range.

Works as promised, was obviously designed correctly for the Ruger 57. Even the unload tab fit the magazine perfectly.

This speedloader works. Nothing else to say, some of my newer magazines require a bit of strength or play to get the last round in. This makes it trivial. Used with GLK and RUGER magazines mainly.
