Clinique Candy Store Lipstick Set

Out of 5 lipsticks, 4 of them work for me. These lipsticks individually cost $18 and I only paid $25 for the set, plus you get a cute little container.

I loved receiving these lipsticks. I keep them on my make-up tray and the tin they come in helps avoid clutter. These lipsticks feel so nice, but please know that they are very bright and pigment rich, particularly Ginger Snappy and Berry Bon Bon. This can be a great thing, but I am very fair and I usually use the more muted colors over these two. In other words, it is fun to experiment. Often I use Jolly Bean over Berry Bon Bon and Sugar Plummy over Ginger Snappy (no, I didn't make up these names.) I blend them with my little finger. The Taffy Pink one is a great color for fair skin. Don't let the fact that I like to mute the brighter colors turn you off; many people will like them just as they are. I do use them alone sometimes, but by placing one color over another one you can develop different colors. In other words, finger painting for you lips and lots of combinations. And I love Clinique quality.
