A Smartphone that doesn't disappoint.
I did a fair amount of research before purchasing the Smartview A100. For the price it's really hard to beat these smartphones. They can do everything a Samsung might do for much less money.I was able to get it up and running with ease and easily transferred Apps and files from my old Motorola phone. I was especially impressed with the amount of internal memory and the ability to use twin SIM cards as I have both British and Australian SIM cards so it's very convenient to have them both available.I'm able to do everything expected and much more. It's easy to run Amazon Prime App and other steaming Apps like Spotify, Netflix, BritBox, You Tube and it can cast movies directly to my TV. Quality is excellent.Security functions such as fingerprint reader is very important and the battery lasts all day before recharge, which is very speedy to do.There is no headphones socket so you must use a Bluetooth Headset but I've not had any problems connecting my headset or using a range of other BT devices. I use a BT receiver/transmitter (also purchased from Amazon) to use my wired headphones and have been surprised at the quality.I've only had to contact customer service once and found them both helpful and responsive. I'd recommend this smartphone to anybody looking for an attractive phone with awesome features at a very affordable price.

How was it
I decided to buy this as an upgrade to my previous phone which was an S4 mini Android 4.The sim card fits into the frame at the side however there isn’t anything to clip it on the frame so inserting and removing the sim card requires a steady hand as the sim card can easily fall out before inserting or removing. The USB cable that comes with the A100 is very slow at re-energizing the phone , the only way to get a good level of power up is to turn the A100 off, as a matter of fact I used the A100 while it was plugged in and the power depletes faster than if re-energizes.It’s a lot bigger this makes it slightly easier to use and the software appears to be working smoothly. There is an android icon on the top of the screen which seems to be something that would appear on a life support machine, it was a bit hard to find any information about it on the android icon list so I did a factory reset but it still appears to be there. I did eventually find out what it is.Good points: Bigger screen which makes it easier to use with chubby fingers, more updated software which allows me to do things which can’t be done on previous versions, better security on the apps in case the device is left unlocked. Not so good: Needs a better USB cable, non removable battery (removing battery is often used to stop battery depletion when not in use or when the power button doesn’t turn the phone off).Overall the Blackview A100 is operating really wellI have given the device a good score since it is an improvement to my previous device.

Good phone.
This is a good budget smartphone. I will keep it simple:Pros: a very competent phone, fast and responsive, nice big screen with good colour depth and viewing capabilities, decent camera for your everyday photos, not overly cluttered with built-in apps, has so far not dropped wifi or Bluetooth connections, fingerprint and face recognition really responsive, looks good as well.Cons: battery life currently not as expected but could be down to setting up and high usage at work, will try and get a better idea when just used moderately, some intermittent slight delays with Bluetooth where it seems to loose the signal before getting it again.Currently happy with the purchase, my other half has also purchased a Black view phone, the A95, and she rates it higher than her work i-phone.Will give further review in a few months time.

Compatible with the bigger names
I was looking to upgrade my Samsung Galaxy S7. I had looked at the S21 series, but was disappointed to see the Ram in these phones was only, 8, 12/16MB The S7 has 32MG. So really attracted to the fact that whilst the A100 has 6GB ram, it is more competitively priced. As another reviewer stated, the A100 came with a DC5V 1A charger and not the DC9V 2A charger as highlighted in the Specifications on the Blackview website.A website manual would also be nice, as the small booklet that came with my mobile, just tells me where the speaker, power point, microphone, front camera, Receiver, LED Spotlight, Sim Card, NFC, Volume controls, Rear camera and how to insert Sim card & SD card.I emailed Blackview re the power adaptor.Nice quick reply to back - apologised, stating this was a Packing issue, they gave me two offers, a £15 refund to my account, and I could try to buy another 5V 2A adaptor, or they could send me the correct 9V 2A adaptor from their China factory. I chose the latter.

Great value for money smart phone...
We have had a number of Blackview smartphones and they just seem to get better. The A100 is their latest top of the range model that's running Android 11. It also has another layer of software called Doke 2.0. That's intended for game players which you can use to further improves the speed of the processor, but it's no slouch as regards speed. Don't worry about it if you are not a games player it remains invisible. The screen is 2400x1080 pixels that's full HD and is very bright and sharp. The battery so far is quick to charge and runs for a couple of days between charges. You'll need earphone with a type C USB plug because the utilise the same socket that you use to charge the phone with. We bought Bluetooth wireless earphones and they work faultlessly. The volume from the phone is extremely loud when turned to maximum so watch out. The phone comes with 128GB of storage (RAM) which is plenty for us and means we don't have to plug an extra SD card into it as we did in the past. It works on both the 2.4 Ghz and 5.0 Ghz bandwidth and switches seamlessly between them to get the highest signal. All in all my wife is very happy with her Christmas present!
