NOT HEAVY DUTY like most Sauder, but it was what I needed
First, here’s what I like about these cabinets:They’re super easy to assemble. Well, that is compared to some products like this that I’ve assembled. The parts were clearly labeled, and the instructions were complete and easy to understand (and in English). No boo-boos on the first one – I ordered two of them – and the second one went together even more quickly. They look nice. The molding trim on the doors gives them more of a custom look than your average white, assembled, particle board cabinet. The handles are a brushed-chrome finish and the hinges are heavy duty as well. It was well packaged. Both boxes arrived undamaged and the contents were in perfect condition. Now, their shortcomings:Every piece of Sauder Furniture I’ve ever assembled (and that’s a bunch of ‘em) has been made of ¾ inch particle board. This one is NOT, it’s much thinner! It’s more like 3/8 inch. Really. Some pieces bend when you push on them. That is both good and bad. It makes the cabinet not so heavy to handle and assemble (two people can easily lift it, or maybe one strong person). But it’s NOT HEAVY DUTY. That’s clearly stated in the description, if you read it carefully. They say the weight limit for the upper shelves in 25 lbs and the bottom shelf 50 lbs. I would not, under any circumstances, put that much weight on every shelf because I'd be afraid of sagging. Maybe half that, but then I’m careful. I knew this and I need it for storing lightweight items, so it suited my purposes. But don’t go thinking that you’re going to stock this baby with gallons of paint. Please. So, for me it worked fine. It has a strap you can screw the top to the wall with, and I recommend that you use it, because it could tip over. I will keep you updated if it fails to hold up in the long run.As a Prime member, I buy a LOT of stuff from amazon. Living out in a rural area far from a city, amazon is my go-to source for many of my purchases. I must rely heavily on your product reviews to help me decide which item is best for me -- especially when I can't actually see, touch or hold the product.I take my personal product reviews seriously, and if something proves to be a piece of junk, I'll tell you - and if it's great or mediocre, I'll tell you that, too. A Nightmare for me
Was is packaged well? Yes. Was it nice when finished? Yes. Were the directions easy to understand? Yes. Those are the pros. I have assembled many, many dozens of these things in my life (I am 72) with little or no trouble. I'm very careful and follow directions explicitly. This was the most difficult piece I have ever done. It seemed so straight forward. I understood what I was to do and I understood how to do it - I just had a really hard time doing it. There are no cams or dowels, just screws - lots of screws, which took a lot of muscle to put in. I am pretty strong but I had to have my husband do some of them. "Slide the doors hinges into place?" Right! It took me hours to do that and I don't know why. It seemed like an easy thing to do. I had to take breaks because of the frustration (with tears, swearing, yelling and even throwing a few things). Even the shelf brackets were a pain. Most of them were very difficult to put in and, when in, wouldn't come out if you needed to adjust. Everything finally came out well. but I don't think I would ever buy another product from this company. Maybe you will have better luck than I did. BTW, someone said the top is not finished - it is.

Sways like a sail boat
If I could give this a zero star I would. Do not purchase this save your money and sanity!!!!!! After 4 hours we got it together and I am surprised it stands or should say it sways like a leaf in a breeze... it is not stable at all. And now for putting the doors on the hinges wow it took 2 hours and I concider myself pretty handy at putting stuff together. But this thing we were litterally banging our heads trying to figure it out ugggg so frusterating and so not worth it!!!! We had to take a break before ny husband threw it out the back door cursing . I am sure our neighbors heard a few f bombs and other colorful language! We put it together out of shear stubbornness and to not be beat by a hunk of junk cause thats how we roll but seriously save yourself time ,energy, and your sanity and do not purchase this. So disappointed in this product......

Functional AND great looking!
This is a great buy! I needed a storage cabinet to use as a pantry in our dining room. It's the perfect size and looks fantastic. I only wish there was one more shelf on each side. But I still love it!

I love this cabinet
I love this cabinet! My kitchen was so cluttered and I needed something to provide some extra storage space. The price was awesome for the product. It is a bit thin and kind of flimsy, but I think it will be fine if you don't need to reposition it often. It was super easy to assemble but it did have a blemish on one of the panels before I even unpackaged it (which is the reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5). I wasn't too concerned though, mainly because the price was so good. Overall, I'd say this is a great buy.

1st pic is backing that some had issues with, then inter and exterior finished product
I don’t know if prior complaints were user errors or product was improved but I love this cabinet! It was the perfect addition for storage in my laundry room! Assembly was easy but I took my time making sure everything lined up because other posters had some problems.. went together fine! Took about 3-4 hours to put together... mainly because I’m 62 and had to read over and over to ensure I got things right! Took pics along the way and will attempt to post ...

Not at all what I needed.
As a unit it's not as sturdy as I've come to expect from the Sauder name. It was that much more upsetting when I found that the item description on the website was deceptive. It is unclear in the description or with the available images that there is a middle divider breaking three of the 4 shelves in half. It cuts the ability to store by a lot, even more than that, you can not store anything big in the cabinet, only small pieces. Disappointed.

Don't buy it
I own several Sauder products and like them. This one is horrible. First half of the assembly went fine. Putting in the shelves and a CD the doors was a nightmare. The hole's for the shelf pegs were top small. I had to get my son-in-law to put them in, because even with a hammer I couldn't do it. The holes for the door handles were also wrong, so I had to bend the metal handles as far as I could, and even then it took two people to force them into the screws and tighten them. The door hinges are awful and would not line up the doors properly. Also, they cinder lose every few uses and have to be screwed back on. They whole door fell off on one occasion. To boot, the entire cabinet wobbles and shakes whenever you use it. Lousy product. Don't buy it.
