Working great so far
I'm using this in my kegging setup. I've got a 5 lb co2 tank running through this regulator to a 4-way manifold with ball lock connections everywhere. The gauge seems accurate and everything is working well. This was probably the best deal I saw on a regulator. I went with a name brand because this is an important part of the rig.

Just buy this one
We tried a cheaper brand. First one leaked, exchange and second one leaked. This one came and worked perfectly, more money but worth the reliability.

Great regulator
Great quality item, I use it daily. Adjustment knob is much better than having to use a screwdriver or other tool. Works well, even at low temperatures (I have had it go to -5 deg F with no issues). The valve is good and it comes with a flare fitting for a 5/16 hose, which is a non-standard size for reinforced clear hose at my local hardware store. However, the valve can be removed easily enough and it just takes the standard 1/4 US pipe thread and just get a new ball valve for DIY projects.

pretty good quality
Works well, pretty good quality, no leaks. My only issue is that the manufacture used some liquid/ paste sealant on some of the threads. The sealant is exposed and I ended up touching it a few times, had to wipe it off so I don't get it all over everything.

Five stars for customer service.
I'm a newbie at carbonation and this would have been a one star review because the first set of gauges came with two major defects making the entire gauge assembly unusable. When connected to my CO2 tank the screw on the duck bill shutoff valve lever popped off because somewhere in the process it had been stripped and would not hold the lever tight to the valve. The second problem was the very noisy, leaking CO2 tank-side gauge. The reviews for this product had been good but obviously the Taprite QC process was in dire need of improvement. But, and it's a big but, when I contacted Taprite about a refund/replacement they immediately sent out a whole new unit, no questions asked. This one is working perfectly and I'm a happy camper. I've carbonated about 100 liters of water without any problems with the gauges or valves and with excellent results. I gave Taprite five stars because of the excellent customer service (quick response) and because the gauge assembly is actually working the way it was advertised to work. I think my first set was an anomaly and recommend this product as an economically and effective component in any carbonation process.

Bad QA. Regulator developed a leak in under a year.
Regulator worked great at first, but developed a bad leak 9 months later. There was no mishandling or damage to the unit. It's been sitting on a table in the corner of the room. It's not over used or in anyway overstressed. There were no extraordinary circumstances. It's just been sitting there as mundane and boring as it gets. It's not the gasket on the tank connection, or user error. It just went bad.If you're on the fence not sure which listing to trust, just don't take a gamble on this one. It might last 6 months it might last a year, but if you buy this regulator, you're going to buy twice. Even at the higher price point this is not a product of quality. It's not worth the hassle. Keep looking or you'll be right back here in under a year writing your own negative review.

Instructions for best use
love it. Works like a dream. You will need a couple crescent wrenches to attach and tighten this. Attach this regulator to your tank and use a hose clamp to connect the hose to this. The other end of the hose should have a quick disconnect bottle connection to the regulator. Set psi to 30 and refrigerate your liquids. To use attach your hose to your carbonator cap and bottle (using a monkey wrench) then turn on your tank and regulator. Keep ON for 30 seconds while shaking your liquid and keeping the bottle as low as possible to prevent reflux into your regulator. This will result in full carbonation. Then you must turn off your tank, keep regulator valve on, use monkey wrench to unscrew carbonator cap from bottle slowly, then you can turnoff regulator valve. If you turn regulator valve off when there is pressure in the system you will get soda contaminating your regulator. 30psi at 35 celcius is what coke uses. Perfect carbonation everytime. If you carbonated soda remove your line with carbonator cap still attached after each use and flush line with water a few times to prevent yeast/mold growth. If you carbonated water just turn on the gas a couple times to purge the water out of it.
