i had saw this on shark tank (i was on a shark tank binge for several months last summer) and at first, i was like who the heck would ever purchase this? lo and behold, here i am purchasing it. haha!! i laugh at myself.. i had used it a few months ago to wash all my son's stuffed animals and it worked great.. the true test is washing my stuffed bear i've had for over 25 years so we'll see how clean or fluffy it is after the wash.. i do have the soak the bag in the water in the washer several times but that's only because i'm very particular when washing things but other than that, so far, so good! i love how the bag feels.. it seems like it'll last for a long time and the bag is super cute.. i would recommend! :)

To hard to keep in-stock and now I need more but can't get

Why didn’t I get this when it first came out??? It works perfectly! Washed a brand new stuffed animal and instead of coming out matted like my son’s older ones I just put in the wash, it came out looking like new! I even put it in a hot cycle with other clothes and it still came out perfect! I have to wash my son’s animals every week now for allergies and this is 100% worth the money! I wish I hadn’t waited!

I'm guessing you could use a regular pillow case, but I like that this has been tested in terms of the items not getting ruined and being free of dirt/allergens, etc. I can't be sure of that with a regular pillow case. Plus, my daughter loved the idea of "Giving Teddy a Bath" (with the graphics). I didn't get the book, just explained it to her. I also have a top loading washing machine (they recommend a front loading) but it went fine. Nothing was ruined and everything looked and smelled good. I like it a lot.

I have had this item for several months and have used it to successfully wash several batches of stuffed animals, soft dolls, and a faux "bunny fur" little girl coat. The items have always come out fluffy and without damage and clearly better than they would have without the bag. The difference was especially clear with the little girl's faux fur coat which I had washed both ways. Yesterday I tried something that impressed me so much that I thought that a review was in order. I had purchased a doll high chair that came with the doll and several play food items at a garage sale. My plan was to bleach the other items and throw away the doll but, decided I would try to wash the doll (that clearly says surface clean only) just to see what would happen. The doll came out really well. Her wig was a little wild but not at all matted. With some brushing it looks just fine. Her paint is completely in tact, her eyes show no damage and, her cloth body and plastic limbs also came out perfectly. All this after I have washed and dried it on hot. This is not the first surface wash only item that I have washed and had come out well with the bag but it is the most impressive! Thank you Teddy needs a bath!

I was on the fence to buy this after seeing a rerun of Shark Tank. I literally just got this bag out of the mailbox 90 minutes ago and took it for a spin. My kids have 5 toys between the 2 of them that they sleep with every night since they could have toys in bed. 2 are Beanie Babies. These came clean but surprisingly not as clean as the other 3 toys. Also, the manufacturer tag shredded on both leaving threads all over the inside of the bag and on the other toys. Not really and issue; I just cut the tag off since I’m pretty sure it only says do not wash in like 10 languages. The next toy was an FAO Schwartz dog, about 6”. I had no concern about him and as I expected he looks exactly like he did new. Next is a 13” stuffed Peep with a beanbag bottom. This Peep lost his emblem about a year ago so it was hot glued back into his rump. She is back to being fuzzy and cuddly. Also, the emblem is still where I glued it. Last is the stuffed toy I was most concerned about. My son’s prize possession “Big Puppy”. A stuffed dog that was won at a fair. It can’t be worth more than $1 and it shows. He got it when he was 7months old so about 7 year ago. I am please to say that Big Puppy is safe back in the arms of his owner.

I ordered this after my daughter had a bad stomach bug and several of her stuffies became targets. I was a little apprehensive only because it says that it works best in front loading washer, and mine isn’t...but all of the stuffed animals we put in there (including the ones she was super attached to) came out fine. They didn’t completely dry in our dryer, but I also didn’t know you were supposed to get dryer sheets with them (whoops!). I’m a believer though! I put in a Jellycat, Build a Bear, Knit sock monkey, Beanie Buddy, and a few Disneyland plush. All survived! Thank you, Teddy Needs a Bath!

Update: I contacted the seller, and they responded and made it right. I'm adding a star to make it 5 stars for customer service.Original review: I was able to wash a teddy bear that is about 15 years old using this bag, and the bear survived. It took a few cycles in the dryer for it to dry almost completely. I'm happy that it worked, but the stitching came undone after washing only 1 teddy bear. I'll need to sew it before using it again, which is disappointing because the bag is not cheap.
