Zombicide: Black Plague 3D Doors Board Game

I ordered this set as a replacement for my Hero Quest board game dungeon doors (which were made of cardboard and plastic). The little plastic bases are of different colors but that doesn't matter to me. I've seen some custom paint jobs on them too which look fantastic. The little doors assemble easily, are completely plastic and snap together without glue. The doors click open and stay in place. They're just big enough that you can even squeeze some of your miniatures through (but they're mainly for looks, obviously). I've never played the board game this was made for (much less the expansion these were intended for), but I guess the colors mean certain things, so these have an old timey look to them for your medieval dungeon table-top board game adventure needs.

These doors are good quality, they click shut and have a door stopper to keep a standard open position. The board looks clean. This is a nice option to add, as it's clearly not required. The price will likely drop, I was impatient.

Love these doors. So much better than the cardboard doors. If you have room in your box leave them assembled. Sometimes the pegs get worn out from constantly reassembling the doors.

**WARNING TO FUTURE PURCHASERS**If you see this being sold for more than 19.99 to 24.99, you are being ripped off! The currently listed Main seller is collecTOYbles, who seems to be selling it for 34.99 + 12.99 shipping.....that is ridiculous! (Already inflated pricetag + 12.99 shipping for a 2lb small box, AND it arrives in late august over a month after release date? super....)I managed to purchase through another provider on amazon selling for a more reasonable price, and I would suggest you do the same. (Biomage sold me mine; it arrived early and for a fair price. Alas, there was only one available for purchase.) If you cannot find it here, there are several other providers such as miniaturemarket and the warstore who WILL sell it for a fair price.**END TO WARNING**Inflated price warning aside, if purchased through the right provider the 3D door set is a fantastic addition to your Black Plague collection.Admittedly, you don't "Need" these doors for Black Plague...However, they really do add a bit more flair to your gaming experience. The original cardboard door tokens really weren't doing it for me, and with all these beautiful plastic miniatures roaming the board I felt like 3D doors would help to add some extra pizazz to the experience.Also, while the original cardstock door markers were never really bad quality, they blended in with the board a little too well. The 3D doors are much easier to see on the board, and you can clearly see which doors are open....well.. by the fact that you can literally open and close these tiny doors.You receive 27 doors, coming in three different styles (Square, Semi-Circle Arch, Gothic Arch), with multiple colored bases. You will have plenty of extra doors (You really only need 15 or so), and several extra color floor-bases in addition to the standard green and blue objective-marker doors. (I would assume the extra colors are for future expansions or for custom maps) Most doors have the standard grey floor-base, with the ability to use a green / blue / pink / white /etc as needed.All the actual doors (not the frames) are brown, and DO swing open and closed. The frame and the door itself are on separate little pins, so the frame stays securely locked into the base while the doors can swing open and closed as needed. (They give a satisfying little click when closed) The doors arrive in pieces, but all can be easily assembled in five minutes or less. Once assembled you really never need to take them apart ever again, unless you are realllllyyyy hurting for storage space.In regards to storage concerns, these doors easily stack on-top of each other to fit either in the base-game box, or any custom organizer. (They fit easily in the wooden organizer I purchased from Go7Gaming) I use about 15 of the regular doors, and a few of the green and blue doors. The rest, I keep in their original box stored away as extras incase of damage / loss / my cat steals one.I have definitely been bitten by the collector bug for Black Plague Minis, and the 3D doors are a pleasant addition to my collection. I am glad that I purchased them, and enjoy physically opening and closing tiny, tiny doors ffaaaaaarrr too much. (Seriously, it's way too much fun. My wife even makes the "Creaky crypt door opening" sound when she opens the doors.)I will update with pictures in the future (With them on the board, during gameplay etc)

The quality of components is ok, there is nothing extremely positive or negative about this item. Not a must have, but for the person who has everything for this game its a welcomed addition to the collection.

Super easy to put together (Just clicks into each other, no glue needed) and looks great on the Zombicide game board. It only adds a 3D element by replacing door tokens but is now a must for any game are group plays. Can also be used for other tabletop games.

When I opened the product I was missing the blue and pink doors.

Love these doors! They make a fun addition to the game. Makes it easy to see what is open and closed from across the table. Only trouble is it may hide a zombie if you're not paying attention.

Están muy bien las puertas, le dan otra vista al juego base de Zombicide Black Plague. Debo decir que estaba dudando, pero cuando las use. Fue genial.

Belle, cambiano l'esperienza di gioco dando tridimensionalità. Facili da montare e solide come plastica. Ci sono tesserine pavimento colorate che stonano a mio avviso con i colori del gioco, potevano farle con qualche attenzione alle tonalità. In ogni caso acquisto consigliato. Un po' costose ma va beh... Per gli appassionati di ZBP il prezzo è secondario.

Nach 3 Nutzungen der Türen brechen die steckverbindungen ab. Ich bin sehr vorsichtig gewesen aber trotz allem gehen an einigen Türen die Stecker weg.Qualität für den Preis nicht gegeben
