Does this fabric completely block light? (Neighbor's security light.)

I agree with Denise. Because it's so tightly woven, and coated with a finish, it probably would block light. I wouldn't say it was room darkening quality, but it would help. I wouldn't use it indoors, though. It smells awful.

If I order via the"5 yards" button, does it come as 5 continuous yards?

I ordered 30 yards to made awnings , I think that I received a 29 yard bolt and a10 yard. I always intact the seller if I am worried about something. By the way, the awnings are holding up quite nicely in the hot Baja ND sun.
