Madison Park Cloud Soft Overfilled Plush Bed Protector Waterproof Mattress Cover Twin White (Mp16-3144)

I bought this in replace of my memory foam mattress topper after my cat decided to urinate on it. I was looking for something to soften up my dense memory foam mattress and be waterproof which is very hard to find one without the other. This topper should not be called "Cloud Soft Overfilled Plush" because it's neither of those. It was barely filled unless you mean the edges and even then it wasn't "overfilled". It didn't make much of a difference and I'm only keeping it because it's waterproof which is yet to be determined. It does make crinkling noise which I would expect if it's to be waterproof. It's okay, but I wouldn't recommend it. wouldn't call this "Cloud Soft Overfilled Plush" ..

Here's the good, this pad is super soft and really well made! The bad...with NO cotton in the content, you'll be sweating like a pig!Yup, I bought this last month for our new bed, and let me add that I am the most freezing all the time person you've ever met. I wear 3 to 4 layers of clothes in the winter, and on our bed we have 2 blankets and 2 comforters so I don't get cold at night. But, with this mattress pad, apparently without cotton in the mix, it makes me sweat like crazy! Pretty much every night I've woken up either in the middle of the night or in the morning drenched in sweat. And I've even removed one of the comforters and it still happens.So fair warning! If you decide to purchase this, heed my warning and if you use it and start sweating, return it right away! I haven't yet because I keep trying different layering combinations of covers all to no avail. Since I've had this for a month, I'm not sure if I can get my money back...sigh!

I ordered a couple of these mattress toppers to try out, they are all awful. The stock pics make them look thick and fluffy, but when you open it up and let it air fluff its really no better than a comforter that fits like a bottom sheet. If you're looking to make your matre4ss softer, go with the foam. If you just want a bit more of a snuggly feeling this may work. the top has a fur type feeling, so its comforting, just not soft. look at the actual pics taken by reviewers to get a real idea of how this will look.

I purchased this pad for my daughter. She is in love with it! I wanted her to be comfortable as well as protect her mattress from spills or accidents from her roommate's furry baby. Per my daughter, this pad has added a soft and fluffy cloud layer to her mattress and doesn't make her uncomfortably hot. Now I want to buy another one for myself!

OMG!! This was one of the best purchases I've made in a while. It's SUPER SOFT. I'm talking I couldn't stop just rubbing on it, couldn't stop laying on it just to feel it on my skin. In fact, I didn't even put sheets on it for about a week, why should the sheets have all the fun. :-) You will NOT be disappointed with one of these. I really can't say too much on it's water resistance, because it hasn't been wet or immersed in any liquid yet.
